The food was excellent. We had the French Dip and the grilled Pork Chop, both were very, very good. The pork chops I had with garlic roasted potatoes which were presented in a light gravy with slices of garlic making for a wonderful side dish. The drinks chosen as we waited for our first course of potato soup with fleck of bacon, while the soup was had the creaminess of potato and the smokiness of freshly made bacon, my wife apple martini was lacking, my beer a Sullivan’s Stout was a perfect pour. Note, the draft beer list could be better, 10 taps and with 130 “Jersey” Breweries they could do much better. Deserts were fine highlighted by a blueberry cheesecake. All together Hendricks is more than worth a visit, I’ll be going back!

We go there regularly,like once a week although once was sketchy because of the very busy day however 90% of the time it is phenomenal the prices are fair the portions good and Chuck the bartender makes for a really home felt atmosphere

Hendrickson’s corner have very distinguished atmosphere. Even if food would not be good (which is not the case) , I’d still come here for good specialty cocktails ( highly recommend “dark and stormy”- will hits you well). Yet , we’ve been recommended to stop for food and the food was indeed very delicious. Service personnel is on top and prices are totally reasonable. Bayonne’s gem for sure

1st time visit. Traveled from Staten Island. My buddy, Rich bartends there. Figured we’d go by and check it out. The atmosphere is cozy, and the aestethics of the building and interior have an authentic feel of the old country. The staff was friendly. The food was tasty. Table had the famous steak sandwich, salmon stuffed with crab meat special and the potato pancakes. Meals came with a small soup. Enjoyed a ship bottom lager and a cape may honey porter. The prices were fair.

It might have an old world charm to it but it’s not charming. Tried the chicken pot pie which was rotten so bad that I spit it out and the server refused to take it off the menu because they thought we didn’t like it but it literally tasted like MOLD! Prices and atmosphere are expensive for what they offer. Will not return. Do not recommend.
