Really good BBQ. Wanted to get a variety from Cole’s so we ordered a whole chicken, pulled pork and the burnt ends. All was excellent with a good smoke flavor. They have a variety of sauces available and I tried the Carolina Mustard and Vinegar sauces. The sides were good too. We had the coleslaw and potato salad. Like most BBQ places they do run out of certain items later on in the day so if you want a particular item go early! We didi get ours to go but there is picnic table seating outside.

First let me tell you I’ve already ate a few slices from my brisket… SECOND stopping here to get some food today was the best decision I made all day! The BBQ sauces are amazing, but the flavor of the meat on its own is fabulous! The last thing that makes this amazing is it’s a small business and veteran owned and operated. The owners are very nice and you can tell they really care about their food.

We were traveling from Georgia and found COLES SOUTHERN BBQ on Google maps. We saw the reviews and decided to try. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. THE FOOD WAS ON POINT. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The picnic tables were clean. The sauces were amazing! THE BRISKET WAS TENDER and just perfect! The pulled pork was amazing as well! EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD! DON’T SECOND GUESS YOURSELF IT IS WORTH IT!!!

First time trying them, grabbed it to go. I’ll definitely go back. You can see from the photos it’s like a food truck with a permanent home. There are some picnic tables so you can eat on premises if you like. The Brunswick stew was my favorite item. I tried the ribs and pulled pork sandwich both pretty good. The baked beans and potato salad tasted like store brands but that was fine. They several sauces and I tried the Carolina vinegar, Hickory mild and Cole’s southern sweet heat. The vinegar was one of the better ones I’ve had in the area. The hickory is thick sweet and smoky. My favorite was the sweet heat. Like a mix of the other 2 plus a big old dash of pepper. The sandwich has a boatload of meat. The rib platter has 3 ribs but they are big ribs. I’ll definitely go back on a nice day and eat on site.

Stopped today for the first time. I got the pulled pork BBQ sandwich, potato salad, Brunswick stew, and peach cobbler. Everything tasted amazing down to the sauce! You can definitely tell all of the food is homemade. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I found this place after a family member recommended it. I was not disappointed. While waiting on my sandwich the owner offered me a sample of Brunswick Stew, a burnt end and a rib. I was sold. I added stew and ribs to my order. BEST I’ve ever had. I will make the drive from Abbeville just for this.
