We wanted to run into Duck for breakfast and this looked like it would have the best coffee. Parking was easy. The line to order was long and took about 15 minutes to get through. Then after that it was another 25 minutes to receive the order, which we were warned about.

Best coffee in Duck but not my favorite for all of OBX. Great location. The biscuit sándwiches are absolutely unbelievable. My daughter and I should have shared one! Definitely a nice spot for a vacation. Breakfast place.

Slow service, took multiple attempts to get the order correct and we only got 2 biscuits. Over $45 for 2 people to eat. Over 45 minute wait for two chicken biscuits. There was only one person in front of us in line but many people waiting for food. The line kept getting longer and longer and seemed like no one was getting food. When the sandwich finally came out the biscuit was cold and the chicken was about room temp and pretty crispy and dry around the edges, had to cut some off. You can tell it sat a while because the pickle made the bottom bun soggy. Not sure what goes on but they need to step up their service.

Really enjoyed our brunch here while visiting. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food was really good. We had a party of 9 and thought it would be a while since they had a sign that said orders could take up to 45 minutes but we got drinks quickly and food in about 20-25, which wasn’t bad at all. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the chicken sandwich and it was super crispy and delicious. Biscuits were huge and really good. Others that got the egg sandwiches couldn’t eat all of because the portions were large. Coffees and teas were perfect. The outdoor area was shady and cool despite it being a hot day – the area around was cute and we walked all the shops afterwards. I’d recommend and go back if in town again.

First thing is the flies. An establishment serving food should have some form of remediation in place. The conditions were so bad, disgusting. The biscuits were dry, and fell apart the bacon was undercooked. The coffee was cold. No condiments available for the sandwich’s and plates. Asked never given. Bathroom door lock broken, so bring a door guard with you. Clean up after yourself. I’m sorry but we spent $90+ for subpar food with poor conditions at best.

Great – the best – biscuits and stout latte (yum) but order messed up due to cash register and waited a long time. Also no longer have ceramic mugs and way too many disposables – prob leftover from Covid days would be nice to see less of that now. A popular spot. Yummy!

The best, and this is an understatement, but THE BEST biscuit sandwiches I’ve had in my entire life.
