Was driving home from Montana and stopped here for a quick lunch. This place is a total hole-in-the-wall dive. The decor leaves much to be desired but the food is really good. I live in the Bay Area and eat a lot of Thai food and this was actually better than most places I eat. We had the chicken larb and Tom kha and both were delicious. I’d rather eat here than a fancy place! Wish I were close enough to come back for more!

I really like the Thai food here. Everytime I’m in Alturas I love to eat at Nuchi’s. I usually order the Avocado shrimp chicken curry. They deliver a great dinner. Fast service n tasty meals.

Nice spot for Thai in Alturas, California. I ordered to go and the food was prepared in about 10 minutes. Waitress was attentive and thorough. Excellent flavor on all the sauces. Packaged so that juices didn’t run out on my car seat. I’ll be back as I travel for work, and will be in the area for a few weeks. A nice surprise! I would say closer to 4.5 stars as it was just a bit pricey but hey… I’m in NorCal and I always round up. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

We ordered two curry soups. They came half full. And a side of noodles–noodles, as in ramen or pasta, which probably cost them 50 cents a serving, if that–and the bill came to almost $40. For what was really one soup. Will not be ordering from this place again. What a cheat.

Excellent Thai food. Very surprised to find quality Thai food in a very remote, rural area. Dragon roll was excellent, as was the Pad Thai and Garlic Chicken. Beats most big city Thai joints.

We got there after closing time, yet they still seated us and prepared us great food. The service was quick. The food was hot, and very attractive. The Rice was perfect. All of our dishes were very well done . The prices are fair. We had a great dinner, even though it was late.
