Hate to fill out negative reviews but here I am. This is twice in two week this Papa Johns in Boone, NC has messed up or canceled my order. Last week I had ordered food and they canceled with no notification. Filled out a complaint and the assistant manager called me and told me my next order would be taken care of. The following day I ordered and nothing was done. Fine, no huge deal at the time, I only wanted to try the new item any ways. Fast forward to today. Ordered my food and wanted to try the new pizza and ordered BBQ boneless wings and they came as boneless hot wings (Pic below)… called and they offered a comp which I said no, because they didn’t comp from the last issue. Twice I have ordered and twice I have had issues. I will say I do really appreciate the delivery driver taking the time to try and fix the issue. He did more than the managers there. I will also say that I won’t be reordering from this location again and will go to the new Pizza Hut.

The pizza I got? Was one with meat, and the other was a Hawaiian pizza. I love the seasoning, and the one I got was a thin crust, and they were excellent! Wide variety of types and their own blend of seasoning and parmesan cheese if you like to add it. Timing was perfect, to the minute! Great place, and prices. Perfect location also.

This is the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life!!!! I will never suggest this location or eat there again. I asked for extra cheese, all the dough wasn’t even covered. The sauce was minimal and tasted horrible. The crust tasted like it was wheat or somethingI have never had in my life. Do not go!

10 year late post, BUT, Papa John’s was great in for me in Winter 2012-2013 (I forget exact month). It was snowing hard, my truck broke down, I had to walk home. Papa John’s was on the way to my apartment, I ordered pizza, asked for delivery, and asked the driver to delivery along with the pizza. They did, and of course I tipped well! Thank you Papa John’s!!!

All other pizza places in Boone are on a 10 minute wait for pick up and papa John’s is on a 2 hour wait just in time for closing. Sounds like they don’t want to make orders and know people will cancel them after hearing how long they’ll have to wait. 2 hour wait at papa John’s and 10 minute wait at dominos? I don’t think that sounds right! Thanks papa John’s for always being a disappointment. I’ll take my 40$ somewhere that actually wants to sell food!

The worst. We ordered a pizza online today during a snow storm and everyone was starving. Several minutes later I get a text message that the order is ready. We get dressed up and brave the weather to retrieve the pizza, only to get there and be told the manager canceled the order, so she could close the store. Does she call me and tell me she had to cancel the order? No, the store sends me a text (Also, we weren’t the only people with this issue there) message telling us the order was ready, so we could drive there through the snow for nothing. This place is hot garbage. Stay away.
