Grandma used to take me here when I was a baby. Been in business for many many years. Food is great! I got the hot beef sausage, potatoes with peppers and onions, scrambled eggs with American cheese, wheat toast and hot coffee breakfast. My company ordered the hot beef sausage, fried fish, grits, eggs fried hard, wheat toast and hot coffee breakfast. They have booths and stools to sit at the counter. Great atmosphere. Pretty quiet. It’s like having breakfast with your neighbors

Great little spot for simple breakfast fare. Portions are good and prices reasonable. The menu is small, so it’s easy to pick out what you want without wasting too much time. Service is friendly and quick. Food hot and yummy. The atmosphere is great, it’s and old style cart with old jukeboxes at each table and confined seating, which is it’s only downside. I will definitely be visiting here again. Oh yeah the grits are great!

First time to this little diner. Pass it al the time but never been for some reason. Boy have we missed out. It is true diner dining. Seats are kinda small but they have bar seating as well. There are jukeboxes at the tables which was cute and unexpected in this day and age. It was relatively clean, but the place was very busy when we arrived so thats to be expected.

Today I decided to try a new place, and so Route 66 diner came to mind, as I drive by almost everyday. Once I arrived there was flies near the table I was sitting. I ordered my food which had a good menu. But once I got my food I was absolutely disappointed as it was very greasy and had no flavor! The grease was pouring out of the food making it very unappetizing. Not to mention the food was completely flavorless and practically had to season everything I got. The atmosphere felt as if we did not belong, although the staff was very friendly!

Fantastic Diner. Super friendly and efficient staff. The ham steak was great quality and over-easy eggs cooked just right. The rye toast was very good. The juke box throw back was very cool with fond memories. Easy access and ample parking.

As small as it it, you will probably not be greeted when you walk in. They will look at you and walk back and forth. Staff wasn’t too friendly or pleasant.

Food is always delicious. Brought my sister for the first time and she loved it. She ordered poached eggs, which is not something you would normally order in a diner, but they were DELICIOUS!

When I was growing up, many years ago, we would grab breakfast here. I visited recently, and although the atmosphere and service were OUTSTANDING, the food was not that great. The home fries were hard, and I believe I was given 1 egg.

It is deceptively charming. From the outside, it looks like a quaint old fashioned diner. The menu would suggest basic, decent diner fare. Also, deceptive. The coffee was the weakest coffee I’ve ever had. You could almost see the bottom of your cup through the bland liquid. Even my toast wasn’t toasted. The waitress never once checked on us to see if we needed anything.
