We were visiting Burlington doing brew tours and mostly having pub food. We wanted something different and saw GBG had great reviews online. My sister and her husband had never eaten Indian food before. The exterior made them a little nervous. Don’t judge a book by its cover! The food was fantastic. We had lamb, chicken and two veggie curries. Two appetizers and nan bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have a couple of local beers which we all had. Our waiter was so sweet and friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed everything! Highly recommend!!

Delicious!! Fresh, well priced, generous portions. Amazing flavor blends! Great job differentiating spice levels, from super mild to extra spicy. Best Indian food around.

Rough start. Inside was definitely cramped. Music was too loud, windows needed cleaning, just not very good atmosphere. Too many flies inside to eat so we used the picnic tables outside. Dishes were not executed well. Palak paneer was puréed to the consistency of baby food, spices were odd, burnt taste and strangely tinted with green food coloring. Chicken curry was passable. Naan and rice were good. I genuinely hope they improve the quality swiftly or they don’t have much chance to survive.

Tasty and authentic. ‘Extra spicy’ is serious here and super flavorful. Very friendly staff. Timely service on takeout orders. I loved their butter paneer and paneer masala, nice texture, flavor, and portion on the paneer. As some others have mentioned, the naan is weirdly sweet and I find it clashes with the savory food, so pass on the naan and get another side for your meal.

We ordered takeout and the wait for the food was reasonable. The resturant was a elatively small building with a small amount of outdoor seating. The food was decent with the vegetable briyani tasting the best out of the dishes we got. Only major complaint was that the julab jamun was not very soft when we got it. Overall, the place had decent flavor and taste for an Indian restaurant in the U.S.

A great accidental find that has become my favorite go to when in town. Best Roganjosh ever. Owner is great, accommodating with suggestions on and off the menu. Highly recommend seeking it out.

One person in our group said she ate there before and the food was good but we went at 1:15 on Saturday but it was closed, when it’s supposed to be open at 1pm and the entrance smelled like urine so we didn’t try again.
