We visited La Familia Mexican restaurant on 6/30 in Webster, TX. We were looking for a great place for our family members to try tamales, and we found it in this little restaurant in a shopping center. They were able to accommodate our family group of 9 easily. The food and the service were awesome. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that visits the Houston (Webster) area!

We have passed by this place many times while in Clear Lake but this was the first time we ever stopped in. Today we were looking for an early dinner and a quiet place. Not the fanciest place but not unpleasant. We were impressed by how good the food was and the quality of service. We will definitely be stopping in again when we are in the area.

I went tonight by myself when I was on that side of town. The margaritas are GREAT, beer was cold, I had eaten there 5-7 times already. I wasn’t that hungry, but I can’t go by there without stopping. Tonight I just got something different, a beef fajita taco and chicken fajita taco on flour tortillas, it comes with pico, lettuce, and freshly grated cheese off the a la cart menu. It was AWESOME! $7.98 total for the meal and it was loaded with meat! That might be my now go to even if I am starving! Red sauce is great as well. Don’t pass up this little local Mexican food place! It is a hidden secret! 5 stars for the taste and value, try it out!

Ordered to go so I can’t review service but, the food was really only okay. Queso is very bland, even with ordering it loaded; chips were incredibly stale and had no salt. The portion for the fajitas was better than expected and the meat was tender! Not much flavour though. Flour tortillas were good. Overall, not impressed. With the vast number of options out there, we will not be back.
