I had some friends bring me some of their food. I really loved the Rack of Ribs, and I especially liked the flavor of the bark on them. I also was able to have some of the Brisket, which was also very good, even my wife liked it. In addition to the meat, I had their Bacon Mac n Cheese and beans. Both of those sides were fantastic. Pretty good sauces too. I highly recommend stopping in. I know I will stop the next time I am in Winona.

Texas Twinkie is a 5/5. Service was great. The brisket was good, the sausage did t really have any flavor.

The Texas Twinkie is as awesome as I imagined. Finally was able to get one before they were sold out. Also got the Brisket lunch for later.

Brisket was my favorite! The green beans with bacon are amazing, and the coleslaw is tasty as well! My husband had the sausage and it was unfortunately cold. Would be 5 stars if all the meat was hot. Otherwise great service!

Service and food were excellent! They help you with any questions you might have about the menu. Pulled, pork, and the brisket are my favorites with the kicked up beans.

the smoker stopped smoking earlier in the day on the day we chose to go so they didn’t have any brisket available but we were able to get ribs, pulled pork and smoked chicken. the beans were ok but not my favorite but the tangy and sweet bbq sauce was amazingly good. I think it’s kind of strange to add 3% fee to the total bill when paying with a card instead of cash. we’ll definitely go back for the ribs and to try the brisket though. all in all I pretty decent amount of food and great tasting for the price. Also we went around 5-530pm so it wasn’t an upset that they were out of some things.

You guys need to go to Texas and figure out what real BBQ is. You should be able to eat any of the meats without sauce. No flavor at all. No smoke. The brisket was cut in the wrong direction and was basically pot roast. Terrible.

I’d give 4.5/5 actually! I’m a bit of a tightwad. I’d pay less of an even smaller portion than the lunch size meal. I had the pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad. The pulled pork (didn’t expect that much!), really good! Baked beans were great! Potato salad was good. The sauces were tangy, rich, and zesty! Overall, a great meal!! Have you considered adding pulled pork poutine to the menu!! Hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge!!
