We took a chance and ordered 4 meals by Uber eats to try Bak a Yaad. I am picky with my restaurants and stick to our regular Island spots. I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. The food was delicious and plentiful, We ordered a large Jerk chicken and large fried chicken with rice and peas and vegetables . The flavor was delicious, not too spicy on jerk. The fried was great. The curry chicken was tender and nuff flavor, not spicy. The stew chicken had a great color. We will definitely order again. The chef does amazing dishes. Keep it up!

The server that severed my husband and I was a pregnant lady, she was patient, courteous, pleasant, and customer friendly when serving us. She smiled and let us felt really welcomed. The food presentation was on point. The food taste was excellent, REALLY JAMAICAN. I give the a THUMPS UP!

Amaazing food! The whole experience and energy is great the staff is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get Jamaican food. Especially “Faith Pen Friday’s” don’t miss out you get all the traditional Jamaican food breadfruit, roast yam & salt fish, mackerel rundung, ackee & corn pork this list goes on.

I used to buy food from unu often and I did a review before explaining how delicious the food was but today !!! The food never ready yet .. the chicken way too salty and it burn up … it seems like the chef did bex wid the pot … GET BACK THE OLD CHEF weh fry the chicken pretty and nuh salt the food like him wah gimme blood pressure problems… I give 2 stars because mi gut full . I’m writing this review as I’m experiencing the steam fish for the first time. OMG it’s an explosion of flavor flavor and more flavor . It’s BEST steam fish I’ve EVER had. Shhh don’t tell my parents. You’ve got to experience this incredible dish. I recommend calling in your order for this dish because it takes about 20 – 25 minutes to prepare and say yes to adding bammy and crackers. Ask for Kadieann when you call. She’s sooo sweet, friendly and kind. So is the rest of the staff.❤

So I’m well picky on yaad food cause I’m one long belly person and I know Jamaica food from country to town and food from de road side, something about Jamaica food that if your Jamaican is a memory when you eat, this place has it , funny thing how I know about this spot , my wife Uber Eats it and I was looking at the jerk chick and it was not oven bake it was cooked grill style , so they are cooking right , look I can chat all day about this spot , just forward and order a food !!

Went to buy soup and the workers had no gloves on have long nails the food was all open up with a fly flying all over the foods workers was handling food and money they don’t have no customer service so I left didn’t buy anything but I had bought there before and it wasn’t like this so I don’t know how things is the way it is now .
