This restaurant is a very special place! The food is only the icing on the cake. The lakehouse grill is perfectly located in the center of Meredith NH, and right on the lake. Beautiful building, with an amazing hotel. I recommend you stay at the hotel to enjoy the best that the big lake offers, and to enjoy this wonderful little town.

My wife and I arrived with our 6yo and 4yo in tow. Despite being very busy the staff were very kind and got us a table sooner than expected. Food was delicious. A very pleasurable dining experience even with 2 rowdy boys.

The food here is quite tasty!! I had several dishes — haddock, salmon, lobster chowder, oyster deviled eggs & omelet. There was nothing disappointing about the food. The service is another story…come with patience because the service is SLOW!

Food was delicious and well-prepared. The portions are small-especially the sides. The scallops were very good and the right amount; the couscous was not very abundant and the accompanying vegetable was very sparse. For the cost of the dish, at least the sides could be a little more generous. I noticed the same thing with the meals if the other diners. Otherwise, the experience was good. Very nice atmosphere and good service.

Great views of the lake even on a winter afternoon. The restaurant is part of an inn and banquet facilities. Self service cheese and crackers appetizers. We both had the quiche, mine with the lobster bisque which was fantastic. My friend had the Lake house salad with the cutest presentation! Meal and cocktails were good and the server, Mia, was friendly and professional. I look forward to coming back!

We were up visiting friends and they suggested the Lake house. We had reservations and were told we would have a 30 minute wait due to staffing issue in the kitchen. So we settled into the bar area and started on the all you can eat cheese and crackers. We ordered drinks and our table was ready just as our drinks came. No, we didn’t wait 30 minutes for our drinks. We waited maybe 10 minutes for our table. We were all seated and 4 of us ordered the lobster roll, my wife had the scallops, a friend ordered 2 appetizers. The food arrived in reasonable time and everything was outstanding. You will really enjoy it the lake house

My coworker and I stopped in to have dinner at Lakehouse while traveling for work. We are not from New Hampshire, so we were not familiar with this place or the area. Upon entering we were greeted with smiles and everyone welcoming us in. All of the staff was amazing. Our waitress Brittany provided exceptional service and made our experience unforgettable! Once she knew we were traveling, she took her time to explain the various specials, cocktails, and even meals we were considering. Our food was delicious!!!!! Everything was prepared and presented in such an appealing way. The manager came over and checked to ensure we were enjoying our meal as well. Thank you to everyone working the evening of August 2nd. We had been traveling for hours that day and you all made the end of our day so enjoyable. Thanks again!
