Fantastic place with unique snacks and food. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. The Taiyaki with red bean is legit. I can’t wait to eat my way through the whole menu. The matcha-vanilla soft serve is a must have. Cool open space with super friendly staff.

Hanamaru Taiyaki is SO YUMMY! We went here specifically to try taiyaki for the first time a few weeks ago, and we LOVED it! It’s sort of like a warm waffle type of flavor, like a waffle cone, but soft, with some deliciously creamy soft ice cream!! We are heading there today for their 1 year opening anniversary, and will return for many more taiyaki in the future!

The ladies working there were quick to take my order. The food was prepared in front of me, and the freshness makes such a difference in the taste. The bulgogi was absolutely amazing. I also tried the red bean taiyaki for dessert and spam musibi as a snack later. All of the food was spectacular. I would definitely come back to sample other items

I really enjoyed my visit to this establishment. The ice cream and our drinks were really good. We will definitely be coming back. We loved how clean everything was and the atmosphere. We also loved the back wall where you can take pictures. A plus is the Japanese store next door.

This was a fun little stop that was recommended by a friend. It was a little pricey given tip and all, but I think it’s justified, supporting a small business, and it’s something you’re not going to find anywhere else. The drinks were refreshing and sweet. The taiyaki were also tasty, warm, and soft. I’m definitely going to come back to try the soft serve. Oddly, the only other time I saw treats like taiyaki was in an anime. Hahaha. But give it a try, I am sure you will like it.

Hanamaru is located next to the Japanese grocery store Minnano. There is plenty of parking right outside the restaurant. The ice cream machine was down when I visited, but that was okay because I wanted to try the ube taiyaki because I’ve never had taiyaki and I’ve never tasted ube. It was absolutely delicious. The taiyaki is served hot and the outside tastes similar to a waffle with a very soft but slightly firm texture. I have no words to describe the ube inside except SO GOOD. I can’t wait to return to try more flavors and get another ube taiyaki. The prices are reasonable and the employees are friendly.
