Holy smokes!!! What a treasure find!! Authentic and sooo delicious! Not your typical American-Mexican restaurant. It’s charm is in the simplicity and abundance of menu items. Loved it!!! (Helps to know some basic Spanish.)

This place gives “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” a whole new meaning. This little hole in the wall restaurant in Dillard is THE BOMB!!! Excellent service, and the food is the BEST Mexican I have had in a very long time. I will be back!

Great, hidden jewel in heart of Dillard. The Mexican food is delicious and very authentic. While I love their burritos and carnitas plate, my wife picks the Mojara Frita con Camarones as her first choice.

We are from California and this is the closest we have found in this area thats like authentic Mexican food. All you have to do is look around the room and see who patronizes it. Lots of families with kids on the weekends, and it’s heartwarming to see. I’ve seen people post that the service is slow, but the waitresses are working constantly, and everything is made from scratch and to order, so have a beer and relax. I’ve also seen remarks that it’s not clean. I would say it’s a little rough around the edges, everything isn’t shiny and new, but not unclean. We often stick our head in the kitchen to say thank you, and I’ve never seen anything that would deter me from eating there. The food is very good, but not particularly fancy. You’re not going to get a basket of chips and bowl of salsa here or sour cream on anything, but the food is good and there’s plenty of it. They make their own corn tortillas too! Prices are reasonable and on the weekends they sell home made tamales to go. We go at least once a week, and I highly recommend it.

I stood outside and saw so much trash outside I didn’t go in. They need to clean up front entrance. We are not in Mexico
