The five stars are for what you would expect by going to an old fashioned hot dog joint that was founded in 1946. Good fries. Very good hot dogs on buttered, grilled rolls. Cash only, so don’t cry when you get there and can’t use plastic. But, there is an ATM machine. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Great classic roadside diner. Counter and booths or sit outside and watch the cars go by. Great beef sandwich. Hot dogs are a national treasure. If you’re still hungry stay for some delicious ice cream! 5 stars for sure.

The grilled chicken was very delicious. I like the little wood-fork they give you to eat the fries.. after a long hike and we requested a good hit coffee, they went the extra mile to make a new pot fresh. I apreciate for extra care. We stopped here for hot dogs the other day. The ten-inch long dogs were grilled perfectly with butter on New England style rolls. We added an order of onion rings and went outside to the picnic tables to enjoy our meal. The onion rings were greasy but the hot dogs were very enjoyable.
