First time here. Had this place on my saved list. Was greeted when we walked in. The hostess was really nice and explained everything to us. Felt very welcoming. Good options on the menu. You place your order at the register and seat yourself. I got the French toast and chicken, and my husband the breakfast tacos and pancakes. There were opens tables, you are able to get your own drinks at the drink machine in the corner. Food came out quickly, hot, and plentiful. Good portion sizes but the taste was just ok. I really wanted the taste to be great especially for the price. The chicken was good, the french toast just needed more flavor (vanilla extract, cinnamon – you get the idea) and the same with the pancakes. Great portion sizes just lacked flavoring.

So I came here because it was on my list to check out and reviews were saying it was good. Upon my review the food was ok not great. I have the daily special which was three buttermilk pancakes with pecan praline and fried chicken. The pancakes were not at all cooked (see pics) so technically it’s a 1⭐ for me. My Partner had the chicken plate with greens and fries and in my honest opinion was really good. The reason for the 2 stars is if your charging me $16 for a special make sure it’s worth the price. Pancakes where uncooked and flat syrup was watered down and the only good thing on my plate was the chicken. I may return for the chicken but not for anything for breakfast.

I honestly want to love this place but their food and service are hit or miss. I’m definitely not a fan of their inflexibility to cater to a client’s request. Last Saturday (not my first visit), I requested to get my breakfast burrito with egg whites only but the receptionist was so quick to dismiss it by saying “unfortunately, we don’t do egg whites only.” She then asked me what side I want. I asked her what the side options were and she pointed me to the front register and told me they have a menu there. Would’ve been nice if she had some at her register especially if she’s not in the mood to talk. Just saying. We will most likely be back just because it’s the closest breakfast place to Kennesaw Mountain where we love to walk on weekend mornings and not because we love it. I do hope they focus more on service because one day, they won’t be the only hotdog stand in town.

Driving down the Hwy and saw the Friday Fish Fry signs and was suppose to going back to North GA. So happy we stayed, food was fantastic, service was friendly and efficient. Owner was visible in the dining room and was checking on everyone to make sure they were happy. Had catfish, hush puppies, slaw, and fries will differently come back

From the minute you walk in the door, you feel welcomed. The staff asks if you have any questions and your greeted by the owner pumping you up about the menu! And they have a reason to. We ordered the skillet and the pancakes and chicken and it was heavenly. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out in a timely manner. We plan to come back!

So yummy! Coffee is so good! We love the fried chicken breast-always pretty perfect! Waffles, biscuits and salads-so good. But this week we stumbled in there on a hard day looking for comfort food and had THE best collard greens ever and mashed potatoes with brown gravy that tasted out of this world. My husband is a fried okra lover and actually said, and I quote “these are the best fried okra I’ve ever eaten.” Hard earned praise! The biscuits and sweet tea ya’ll…that’s where it’s at! Portions are not massive, I’d love a bigger side of gravy or fried apples-they give you salad dressing sized cups. But all in all-everything else is good sized. It’s very close to Kennesaw Mountain so an awesome location when you plan to hike or sight see at the mountain or nearby downtown Marietta. Check their days and hours of operation because they aren’t open every day. But this is a stop worth planning around!

This is a very busy establishment but clean and good environment! I kinda felt like the waitress was frustrated when I asked her for something but that’s probably due to the fact that everything you could possibly need is set up nicely on a table in the corner. I realized shortly after that everything is laid out from ketchup & hot sauce to bags & to-go containers! The hostess who took our order up front was probably the most nicest young lady in attendance. All the other workers were not as friendly & seemed to just walk past us. But that’s ok. I still enjoyed the delicious food, the convenience of the condiments right at your fingertips, the speediness & the easy flow of the crowd! It was so super packed but no one was bumping into each other. I was visiting from out of town so it was my very first visit. If I could rate this on the food alone I’d give it 10 stars! I haven’t had a good breakfast outside of my kitchen… in a very long time! I can’t even describe how amazing the food was. Makes your taste buds explode like fireworks!! So overall the experience was good. I just wish I saw more pleasant faces with better demeanor. I’d like to feel more welcome & I didn’t feel that at all!!!

I came for lunch on a Thursday and there was no wait. You come up to the register to order and then go get your own drink and pick your own table. The staff brings your food and anything you might need while you sit and then they clear the table when you’re done. Lunch was a bit expensive, but it came with a meat, two sides, cornbread, and a drink. I regularly drink water and don’t add bread to my meals, so an “entre only” option would have been nice. The portion size was large, more than I could eat and I took about half home. Great food, tasted amazing and I’d love to come back for breakfast sometime.
