My last visit was uncharacteristically slow. The cashier wasn’t very quick but the sandwich makers were in no rush. In fact, one was off talking when my order needed to be completed. Then they marked the wrong number item on the wrapper and I had them double check what they made. The food was up to standard but I was surprised by the service. Never in the last ten years have my visits been anything but reliable, fast service.

There was a homeless guy having his best day here with his two best LGBT XXL femininest friends. Place looked like the woke people target fired to save money. The two wild color haired women looked as greasy as every single table. I got fired here 20 years ago for not remembering how to make sandwiches, at least I didn’t turn away customers at first site. The tables have some type of grease on them, built up filth. Another customer even commented. I love this place, it’s gonna take a lot to completely turn me off but my wife is absolutely disgusted. Sandwich was good, I felt filthy afterwards.

This JJ is usually up to par, however yesterday I ordered a two slim 2’s over delivery (just roast beef, cheese and mayo) and got NASTY food poisoning. I know for a fact it was the sandwich because I ate absolutely nothing else that day. TMI warning but all night for hours on end I had the worst diarrhea of my life and my stomach felt bloated and disgusting. When I thought it was over I ended up vomiting the following morning. I NEVER get sick like this unless I eat something bad

One guy who works there is so nice, gave me and my sister free brownies (if managers are seeing this don’t get mad at him). I love JJ’s! The food is served SO FAST and it tastes soooo good! Best JJ’s I’ve ever been too will be coming back for sure!

Placed a delivery order and they gave me a sandwich with HAIR in it. They also only gave me a medium when I paid for a large but whatever, I wasn’t worried about that. I called to ask for a refund and was told they can’t do that. Only refunds on cash orders. They said they would remake my food or give me a credit. Sorry but I don’t want JJ for a long time because I literally took a bite of food with someone else’s hair in it. Then I had to listen to the “general manager” talk about who is there and how he’s not sure dark/black hair got into my food when no one there has dark hair. I’m like look, I don’t care whose hair it is, just please refund me. Still wouldn’t, and now it’s being escalated. Absolutely insane. In the picture where the hair is on the wrapping, I had pulled it off the sandwich (with a napkin), and laid it out to show it’s really hair.

I don’t eat here often anymore but I had a craving for a turkey sandwich, on bread, not a roll. Very few places have this option anymore. So I turned to JJ’s. It was the last hour of shop hours on 2/9/2023 but the young adult staff greeted me in a friendly and welcoming manner. I wish I would have noted their names so I can give them a “shout-out”!

As annoying as it is- ALWAYS check your sandwich before leaving this place. I ordered a veggie with extra pickles, to go… got home and my sandwich was ✨spicy✨. Somehow when I said “pickles” they heard “hot peppers”. Like this sandwich was LOADED with hot peppers….. no pickles in sight. Very very very disappointed to say the least.
