We love enjoying a meal and entertainment at the Standard at Sabal Springs. It is convenient and the staff are friendly and helpful, especially love the bartender Ryan and wait staff Hannah and Shandae. The food is always hot and delicious.

We live in Sabal Springs and appreciate the convenience of having a restaurant in our community. However, after golf on Saturday (11:00 am) a group of us went to the bar and found the exterior door locked. We went around to the front and the interior door was locked also. There was no sign of anyone. After a few minutes Chris, the owner, came out and told us the bartender was late and they would open when he got in. He also thanked us for our patience. I owned my own business for many years and as an owner when the help doesn’t show up, the owner steps up. Chris made zero effort to open the bar. As a result, we decided to go elsewhere. All that was required of him would be to open the doors so we could get out of the heat and, if nothing else, offer us a glass of ice water. But he did nothing. We have tried to like this place, but Management has made it very clear they aren’t interested in our restaurant. The help is poorly trained, if at all, and the food is hit and miss at best.

Absolutely Terrible!!! All you can eat fish is a joke. Takes an hour to get second piece. Then they charge extra for more tartar sauce. Had a reservation but it was not recorded. No refills on drinks. Poorest service in a long time. And not that busy. Then it took 47 minutes to get our check after asking twice for it. The place is dirty. You stick to the floor on the way to the bathroom and the carpet is even dirtier. I won’t be back. Gross!!!!!!

We were a large group of Red Hat ladies with different issues. Hannah and Shadae were our servers. They did an amazing job with keeping glasses filled, taking our orders, and checking us out one at a time. Food was quick and delicious. A special thanks to Jessica (Manager) who helped me organize this luncheon.

Where do I begin? Restaurant was very clean and extremely welcoming. The service was out of this world and the manager was super accommodating and kind. Our food was hot and delicious (cajun pasta, honey kicken chicken), drinks from the bar were refreshing and perfectly put together (mojito, sangria) and the prices were even better. We left feeling as family and will definitely be returning. So happy we found this hidden gem!

Classic Meatloaf was delicious but a very stingy portion was served; less than 1/2” thick. I do not expect to pay $18+ and go home hungry. Even the sides were reduced in size. I am home looking through my refrigerator for something to eat
