One of two restaurants in Chama that I consider really good (the other is Outlaw BBQ). On our most recent visit, we had 3 pizzas: buffalo chicken (a special not on the regular menu), Yard Bird, and pepperoni. All were really good; the buffalo chicken was my favorite.

There was absolutely no customer service from the moment you walk in. No signs saying seat yourself or even wait to be seated. The lady taking our order was rude, she did not offer to explain ordering, how drink sizes worked, and was quick to rush us away. We ordered four drinks and three pizzas. Drinks were served on time and tasted fine. Food took longer than was necessary, the place had plenty of people but was not crowded by any means. Pizzas were good, crust was burnt on the bottom on one, the cheese was soggy on another and the toppings fell off easily. The service was not worth the mandatory 15% “Service Charge.” 8 inch pizzas for 15-17 dollars without tax. While it’s a well decorated place, adequate in its food, they need to hire Servers who take Customer Service seriously, whether busy or not. Which they were not.

One of the best wood-fire pizza our family had experienced. The crust was outstanding with fresh toppings. Love the water service in the crafts, this was a neat attention to details. The service was prompt, friendly and accommodating! Love the vibe inside and outside.. we visited twice during our week in Chama!

Ate dinner there on a Wednesday around 530. Restaurant was not super crowded but a number of tables were not cleaned so we had to wait for a table. Had their special pizza with local sausage and mushrooms which was very good. Also had their Verde with arugula which was tasty but the crust was a bit soggy. Beers were good. A solid choice for pizza.

While they don’t currently have a gluten free pizza (they said they are close to having one), the green salad was excellent and large and the soup of the day was GF and DELICIOUS! The staff was very nice and moved food out of the kitchen quickly. My husband said the green chili calzone tasted great! Excellent place!

Staff was gracious about our arriving 15 minutes before closing time, for they were the only restaurant in town still open when we arrived. Even though they were mostly sold out of food for the night, of what they still had we enjoyed their smoked ½ chicken and the patatas. Portions were generous, my elderly father and I split one order and were satisfied. I really enjoyed their iced tea as well. I like that they grow their own garnish/herbs in house, that is not something you see in most restaurants. Thank you for a good meal.

Party of 6 arrived and the only table for 6 was dirty. After 15 min, we took the dirty dishes to the front counter. 4 guests recieved food in 20 min but no condiments or silverware or drinks. I went to get the silverware and was told we are short-handed. I was able to reach over the counter to get forks. About 20 min later, I went back to the counter to get the condiments and then about 10 more minutes to get our drinks. I was able to get 3 of the 6 drinks. Another hour passed before the 2 pizzas came out. In the meantime, they put a sign up that they had run out of pizza and also some sides. Other patrons were looking for rags to clean their tables. Because everyone was done eating when the pizzas finally came to the table (2 hours after we arrived), we took them home and they actually tasted good. Because their orders are at the counter, they add the tip when ordering and paying before the food arrives so no incentive to give you anything you’ve ordered. It was $122 for cold dry burgers, no service, no drinks and only part of the food.

My mom got a $30 steak that was tough and flavorless. She spent $30 for corn-on-the cob that was somehow flavorless also. My sister and her friend got burgers that tasted like they got them from the school cafeteria. The only thing that was good was my pizza. So pretty much $100 and we all shared my pizza

What a treat in the heart of Chama, NM (in the middle of no where). The wood fired pizza was great! The crust is made with dough from yeast that is apparently 34 years old. The brussel sprouts were a great compliment to the meat heavy pizza. This place seems pretty new and it stands out in the small town of Chama. They did a great job with the layout and decor. The outside fire pit was neat.

Beautifully clean and tastefully designed local restaurant that serves some of the best food I’ve tasted. Making great pizzas with local and fresh ingredients in a fire brick oven. I got the local beef and the meat was not frozen. Freshly butchered and served elegantly. It was awesome. I asked for a fresh jalapeño but they provided a volcano sauce ( I believe it was habanero and serrano or ancho Chile) which was awesome. They had a nice selection and draft beer that I didn’t taste but people around me liked. Visit them you will enjoy tremendously.
