The BBQ Chopped beef potato is the best! It is large enough for 2 people. (I cut it to share) Very filling. The onion rings were very good as well. The line is alittle slow; but it is well worth the wait.

I ordered BBQ potatoes tonight. BBQ beans and Mac and cheese. I just don’t know if I can return again. My potatoes lacked flavor, my BBQ beans turned in green beans somehow. Also my tea in 104 degree heat had no ice? are you kidding me. 40.00 and it’s just not the rib tickler I grew up loving.

Unfortunately the food was a little disappointing especially for the price. Ribs were extremely unnecessarily sweet and the Mac and cheese was tasteless and kind of watery. Other then that it’s a nice environment friendly staff and fast service.

Rib Tickler catered our son’s graduation party. Servers were on time, professional, and friendly. The crew brought everything for an outdoor BBQ party. Food was delicious! Guests loved it. We opted for a 2 hr serving time. When the crew were leaving, they packed all of the leftover food into to go containers so we could still offer it to guests and then carry it home. Will absolutely recommend and use them again. Fabulous experience with them!

Where do I start? The people are like that town in the Andy Griffith show….they get to know you and really do care. I know this because, due to the best chicken tenders I have ever had (and this is no small compliment) and that salty bark on their wet brisket, I frequent RT 2-3 times a week. If there is ever any issue with the food, they will fix it (rarely an issue for me, but when you go 2-3 times a week for a couple years, mistakes happen) with a smile. I see the families that come there and it is truly a family friend spot vs one of those that has to say they are and doesn’t care a flip about anyone but volume like Walmart.

I am a regular customer (once or twice a week).Today was very disappointing. I ordered a 3 meat meal and a super salad. The chicken was so dry…no skin…..it was like it was left over and warmed up. The sliced brisket was also dry and stringy. The ribs were also cold. The beans were cold. Not only was the quality less than expected but the size of servings has consistently decreased. For example today I received 4 slices of brisket. A chicken breast the size of bird and 2 ribs. The condiments (pickles, onions,etc) were less than we usually get, I have been a customer since 1980s and was very disappointed more in the quality than the quality.

I love this place and every person that works there. Oh, and the food? So damn good every time!!!! I like The Original Rib Tickler so much I’ve considered applying for a job here. The service is not only exceptional but the staff is generous and so kind. Other local restaurants should take notes 🙂

There was a big group eating, and they were extremely loud, my wife and couldn’t even hear each other talk.. I got the chopped beef BBQ sandwich it was good, but I burped the smokiness of the meat and BBQ sauce for 2 days.
