Everything tasted amazing and the portions were huge. I am generally very picky about sausage gravy and often find myself disappointed at most places sausage gravy with biscuits, but Big Bear was fantastic. We will be back for more (after we let this giant meal digest a bit). Staff was friendly and inviting. This is great new addition to Brownsburg’s dining options. Unexpectedly, they have great breakfast beverages as well: multiple uniquely flavored lattes, and brunch cocktails that are more than a typical mimosa.

Yes, you gotta wait to get a table…but when you sit down and git to grubbin!!?? It’s totally worth it! The who Mrnu is to die for! The cakes are incredible! Is it the syrup? Is it the cakes? I’ll just eat!! And the build your own is all encompassing for the one who just can pick EVERYTHING! Beware! They feed ya here! Your gonna be Hibernatin after a visit here! Finally got to check this place out! We came Sunday morning around 9:15, and there was a 30 minute wait. We weren’t surprised since it just opened and everyone is checking it out! They took our number and called when our table was ready which was nice. Our waitress, Gwen, was super friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations! I got the garden skillet which was 10/10 delicious. We will definitely be back soon to try the other stuff on the menu!

Huge portions! Bring your appetite or prepare to share with a friend, you’ll be leaving with a carry out box for sure. We got the eggs Benedict biscuit and big bear omelet. Both were amazing. I tried the Mimosa flight. Unfortunately I was too full to finish it and would just get a glass next time but definitely fun to try. Loved the blood orange.

The food was great and the portions were generous. I’m trying to cut back a little on my intake and I was able to easily get two meals out of what I ordered. The Pimento Grits were good.

I have tried this place twice now, because I want to love it like so many people do. Everyone keeps raving about them, and the first time I took my kids, my daughter’s biscuit was completely raw in the middle. There was also food stuck on the side of my plate, and I let it go because I figured it was just a small mistake. This morning, I ordered breakfast for my son and myself and the coleslaw I ordered alongside my chicken biscuit not only smells rotten, the slaw is brown. It just smells like it was sitting out all night and they just tossed it in a container. I am so disappointed. It doesn’t even have any dressing on it, it’s just fermented salad at this point. I will not be returning, which sucks because the Son of a biscuit sandwich is actually really good, despite the lack of seasoning I experienced last time. The servers are super sweet, but I cannot get past uncooked and rotten food.

First time trying Big Bear Biscuits. Walked in, was sat immediately. Friendly staff. It’s a small little restaurant but our food had BIG flavor. I got the petting zoo which was just so delicious & so different! My husband got the biscuit with fried chicken, cheddar cheese, bacon and saw mill gravy. The portions are huge. We both couldn’t finish our dishes. For $25 total and that included a drink, you really can’t beat it. We will definitely be back!

Other than the coffee having to much flavor syrup (it had an alcohol aftertaste) it was great. The biscuits are awesome and everything else we had was really good.
