About a dozen craft beers on tap, real cold too! Beer server was fantastic, very friendly and informative with menu questions. The Phill Cheese Steak egg rolls for an appetizer were awesome! My bride had a tasty cheeseburger and French fries. I had the fried buffalo chicken wrap and fries both were great choices. We tried to eat in the dining area…. the band (inspite of how good they may have been) was WAY TOO LOUD!!! If it had not been for the downstairs taproom we would have left. As a safety professional it was loud enough to experience hearing discomfort.

Tried the loaded fries, salmon, chicken pesto on flat bread, and the club. All were amazing but they chicken pesto was my personal favorite. The drinks were done right! They had a live band going. They do have a quieter room if you prefer that.

Food was great. Especially the crab cakes with rice pilaf and chef veggies, so much flavor! Watched my girlfriend eat the black bean burger. She said it was good, however it fell to pieces as she tried eating it. We will be back

The lady who waited on us was great! We came here 8/10 to have dinner and celebrate with my daughters bridal party. The people were friendly, with great service and the appetizers were very good. We got the one with mozzarella sticks, fried green beans, and cheese fries. They had a small band and they were awesome! My daughter and friends enjoyed dancing, and singing. The place is small but the atmosphere was nice and all lite up. Especially outside.

This is the only local watering hole of it’s kind in downtown Clayton and it doesn’t disappoint. I like it because it’s more casual than Manning’s and a bit less expensive. It’s got a bit of a dive-y vibe compared to Revival.

Great food, I mean extremely tasty salmon and rice. Really talented cook! Nice comfortable atmosphere with stage and lights. Missed the band on my 1st visit; arrived to early. Looking forward to another Saturday; this time after 8pm.

Update, new chef, again per owners. New menu. Had lunch, nice variety. Caesar salad over dressed, but that is common mistake. Monday closed now. Support local!

Fun little restaurant/club. My first time there. Food was pretty good, wait staff was terrific… friendly and helpful. Very fair prices. Great band playing tonight, although I didn’t get their name. It was exceptionally crowded this evening, but still a great night. I understand they have karaoke during the week also.

For me it was a hidden secret that turned out to be quiet a good find. Atmosphere is low key and inviting, a nice selection of beer taps/bottles and the mozzarella sticks appetizer was too darn good. I could have stopped there but pressed on with a killer smoked gouda pimento cheese burger. It definitely hit the taste buds in all the right spots. The Flipside is definitely a place I’ll revisit.

Do love this place! Great menu choices for lunch and dinner – from sandwiches on to some fancier entrees. Great appetizers. Nice selection of beer. They have outside seating for about 20-30 when weather is cooperative (and warm). Great if you’re a smoker – I am. Downside is servers don’t seem to get outside as often as if you’re inside – you may need to go hunt down your own beer on occasion. BUT, If you’re looking for a friendly place on a Friday or Saturday afternoon to unwind after the week, you can’t beat this place. They get MY money 🙂
