This was my first trip to Ohio for a family wedding. Our first night was Thursday, and every bar in this summer college town appeared dead. Uptown-Downtown appeared the same but when we walked in, we were surprised at the space and the decent crowd. Good service and generous pours made this a good spot. We came back on Friday night and the crowd was much better than the previous night. Plenty of bar games, a massive big screen for playoff games, and once again generous pours had everyone enjoying the evening. If I do ever come back to Bowling Green, I’ll be visiting Uptown-Downtown again.

Didn’t eat here. My old college hang out has seen some serious upgrades since the 90s but the place is pretty much the same. Brought back tons of memories. Bartenders were excellent.

Yikes. Got a pizza once and it was okay. Guy working smelled bad. Then I decided to try them again the next day. The guy working had the same exact clothes on and smelled putrid. Nooooo thank you! I’ll be going to the far superior pizza hut! A great chain restaurant that REQUIRES employees to shower

Great bar food and solid drinks. Ordered tater tots and a blue cheese burger with waffle fries. I had to ask for lettuce, tomato and onion, but it was delicious and so were the waffle fries and tater tots. The grill is open late!

The music is a bit too loud. You should be able to hear the person sitting across from you. And the TV’s need too have captions turned on for deaf/disabled people. Other than that and a very small patio, it’s a decent sports bar. Very spacious, friendly and competent bartenders, and a good atmosphere.

Horrible staff!! Bartender was very extremely rude. Accused me and a friend of talking negatively about her and refused to serve us. And threatened to have us kicked out for no reason. Was looking forward to the opening of uptown but this bartender totally ruined it for me and my friends
