We have been a staple in San Diego since 1952. We are third generation family run restaurant with same recipes handed down by our grandfather when he came over from Sicily. As a family, we used to visit Nicolosi’s on a monthly basis when it was located in San Carlos. Once it moved to Santee the quality of the food went down hill and prices went up hill. They don’t take time to taste the food or all the cooks are smokers and have no taste buds. Food is bland and no sprinkling cheese on top is not going to make it taste better. The prices have also skyrocketed. $4.50 for a 6 oz apple juice or $26 for Mac n cheese that I had to add salt to was ridiculous! We will not be going back

OMG the pizza we ordered was delicious. We ordered the deluxe pizza again OMG it was made with the best sauce we’ve ever tasted. The veggies and meat were cooked perfectly. Ordering was easy the pizza was ready in 25 minutes. Nicolosi’s is a great addition to Santee. I would HIGHLY recommend to friends and family. Welcome to the neighborhood

Gave it 5 stars because the food is great and the-management and servers are nice people and very friendly, however I wont be going back. The new location feels cold and unwelcoming. Black and white decor, cement floors, bare tables.(probably very hip?) to me the ambiance was a half a step above a fast food place. Also, dinner for two plus beer and one glass of wine with tip was $110. For that much I would prefer to eat in a nicer environment. Maybe table clothes would soften the place. I wish them well in the new location.
