Omar’s Eating Adventures
I’ve had my ups and downs over the years when coming to Waffle Den. I’ve been a customer since the old Jasper and Harker Heights locations. The service can be hit or miss, and the lines can be long. It’s one of those hood spots that you have to have some patience to go to. I can say that I’ve never had a bad waffle before, and I’ve tried a lot on the list. They had me in a headlock for months when I first tried them. I have had some good experiences and some bad ones with the chicken. All in all, they are worth a try. The owner, Ben, is a cool guy and has always been nice when I would see him.

Love the food….. tried the strawberry and Banana waffles. The waffles were good and tasty enough to eat without syrup. Try them out you won’t be disappointed. But to me the main attraction is the fried chicken don’t know what the recipe is for their fried chicken but you just can’t get enough. Be prepared though for a long wait, food is cooked too order and the line can be long during their busy times. But we’ll worth the wait

Took about 20 minutes or so waiting in line and at the front. The food was good, chicken was fried crispy, it went perfect with the hot sauce and I wish I would have gotten more chicken. Waffle was soft and the syrup taste good (not all syrup or hot sauce is good people but what they use is).

My waffle was dry, and the wings tasted like old grease, very over priced. I paid $15 for 3 wings, a hashbrown, and a strawberry waffle($5). Also if you want to pay cash, you can’t order until you arrive. The lobby is closed for ‘covid’…

First time customer today. Dine-in isn’t currently being offered so we went through the drive through. Unassuming location attached to a gas station. Employees were polite and it didn’t take long to get through the line of cars.
