Kizuki Ramen’s philosophy is to serve the most traditional, authentic and delicious Japanese ramen that you can possibly have without actually flying to Japan.

Kizuki’s food is still prepared the same way as it is in Japan; utilizing an unique method of roasting bones before boiling. Similar to the French style of making consomme, they were the first in the Japanese ramen industry to employ this method. The result is a rich, flavorful broth that is fragrant, and full of depth. Devoted to replicating the incredible flavor of traditional Japanese ramen, if equal substitutes for ingredients are not found within the country, Kizuki Ramen imports the ingredients directly from Japan.

We came to try this place out during lunch. I ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu and my friend tried the Garlic Tonkotsu. The waitress was good enough to ask if we wanted low sodium for the Tonkotsu soup base. We both said yes low sodium please.

We went there in the afternoon, it wasn’t that busy during the time. They don’t have enough servers, so we waited for a while before getting a seat. According to the servers, they would be more busy after evening. If you were there for food instead of having a drink, going before evening may be a better choice. We love our spicy Raman. I would like to try other flavor and see what’s my favorite.

I love Ramen but this is a new favorite the food was so good I got the garlic Ramen the most popular one. Definitely one of my fav broths so far. Plus it comes with a delicious seasoned egg. Lychee lemonade was great and the mango green tea. The kaarage was delicious (the Japanese mayo was great but it probably would be good with like a chili sauce too) takayoki dumplings were just ok imo. The atmosphere was pretty dope it’s a small place but didn’t feel crammed in. Loved the decor. Overall 5 stars

This place was super yummy! We had a special garlic tonkotsu ramen (that might not be available anymore) and it was so good. Introduced a friend to ramen here and he was a big fan. Highly recommend for you to head to SomiSomi a few doors down for icecream for dessert. 🙂

Father’s day. First time here. We arrived 10 minutes after they opened and there were a couple of tables already being served. Server didn’t give us our straws and had to ask for it which took a while because they became busy a bit. While the table that arrived after us were given straws outright. Hmmm. Food was average. The Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen I got had a razor-thin slice of pork. Flavorful broth. Good ramen texture. The Chicken Karaage was good but only 5 pieces. A bit pricey. Place was a bit noisy with loud music playing. I expected a more quiet place considering it is located in a rather high-end area of Katy,TX. We weren’t thanked as we left even though there was a staff member by the door.

Probably one of the best ramen shops I’ve been to. The food and customer service was amazing! All the employees made us feel very welcomed with giving us recommendations on food and drinks and treating us with lots of care.
