Very neat and high quality eatery on Historic Main Street, probably the best (from scratch) food you will find there. The building has a unique story and you get the feeling you are surrounded by history when you sit in the dining room. The apps, entrees, and special cookie dessert we chose all hit the spot. I would recommend The Main House to anyone looking for above average fare in this area. Will be back!

Newly opened and off to a fabulous start!! GREAT menu, prepared fresh and delicious! The tzatziki is wonderful, the roast chicken dish had a fabulous sauce and the southern fried chicken sandwich and burgers are hearty & delish lunch options. and the Apertivo cocktail is perfect for sipping on their lovely patio!beautifully redesigned interior capturing some historic charm & mystic . And the staff are very attentive and lovely, all truly seem to love working there. Highly recommend!

The Main House is a new fine casual dining experience that blends the old with the new. We have enjoyed both lunch & dinner and have never walked away disappointed. The service has been excellent at each visit plus every entree has been excellent, especially the Cajun pasta & bone-in pork chop. Be sure and save room for dessert!

Try the Mac and cheese, it was delicious! I was there with a table of 13 people and the service was spot on! Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. A few of us split a meal and the kitchen plated them separately so we got a beautiful display of delicious food. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. They have a cute little bar, outside seating and cool big leather booths and other tables inside. It is classy and cozy. Everyone there was friendly and the manager came to our table to ask us about our experience. Check out out the next time you go to Main St.

Amazing food! Owner/chef is so friendly and spent so long talking to us and making sure we were satisfied. Steak medallions, wine and a patio were so great with good music for a wonderful evening out. Quality of the food was top notch. Highly recommend above and Brussel sprouts and shrimp cocktail with delicious cocktail sauce. We will be back every time we come through STL from KC.

A lovely new spot in the heart of old St. Charles – just opening mid May 2023. We stumbled upon them on a T evening as we were looking for outside dining. Excellent, friendly service combined with very well prepared, locally sourced food. Fabulous patio overlooking the river. The inside of the historic home has been thoughtfully prepared and is really lovely.

This was a wonderful experience! We sat on the patio. Kaitlin was an amazing server. The manager stopped by to see how our meal was going and the attentiveness to our water glasses was top notch! Had the French onion soup which was amazing even on a warm evening. Can’t wait to come back!
