We like this location when passing through town. The Choose two is a good deal. I like the Memphian sandwich with a salad.

Tasty soups and sandwiches and some of the best iced tea in Lufkin. The bread is fresh, good amount of meat in the sandwich and the cheese was melted.

Absolutely love the king club. So much sandwich. Lol I can’t eat it all but I always save some for later or for my lunch for work. I love the cheddar broccoli soup too. Oh and can’t forget the brookies.

We eat here at LEAST once a week. It’s the only place we are comfortable taking our 1 & 2 year old out to eat at. With that said it’s toddler friendly, the customer service is amazing, food comes out pretty fast so the babies don’t get cranky, management is the best, such a wide variety of delicious food for a very affordable price and the drinks are fantastic!

Edit: I’m changing my rating from a 2 star to a 3 start because of the response of the General Manager of this location. She immediately reached out and did all that could to try and rectify this situation.

Friendly employees. We were asked 3 times while we were eating if there was anything we needed. Great food and experience. Employees and manager stopped to talk with us. Will definitely stop again.

Just ate here. Had the roast beef and cheddar with red onions and horseradish plus a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It was delicious and the price was nice! The soup had real cheese and not some yellowish brine that other places have. The sandwich had ciabatta bread and was lightly toasted. The meat was tasty and the cheese was very tasty. The staff was knowledgeable and it’s a spacious room.

My brother in law has been in and out of the hospital since January. He has improved and for his first meal out he picked McAlister Deli. He had a giant baked potato and I had the New Yorker.

We went to McAlister for a nice supper. She got the grilled chicken sandwich and I got the rubber sandwich. There was so much pastrami on the sandwich I brought half of it home to eat. She ate all of hers. They were very friendly and courteous.
