Tonelli’s was established on April 1, 2019 when we opened Tonelli’s Pizzeria on the corner of Newland and Edinger. We have since sold that location and opened a full service Italian Restaurant called Tonelli’s A Taste of Italy on the corner of Edwards and Edinger in Huntington Beach. Tonelli’s was established in honor of my parents Duane & Carol Tonelli. My parents have been there for me through thick and thin and the best way for me to show them how much I appreciate all they have contributed to me in my life is to put the Tonelli name out to the public.

I cant recommend Tonellis enough. This is a small mom and pop Italian place. Locally owned. The food (and the wine) here is phenomenal. I have heard endless compliments on a number of their dishes so I am excited to come back. The customer service is above and beyond what you’re used to seeing. I came alone and felt so at home and welcome in this place. I will definitely be back. The owners hearts shine through this place and that’s just a plus.

Went in on a Wednesday and was apologized to repeatedly for the wait being they got busy suddenly. Honestly did not think it was too long a wait we had the eggplant tower for appetizer and lasagna and shrimp scampi. Finished off w a canoli that never made it to the photoshoot. Fantastic food. Fantastic servers. Great first time experience.

We loved the cozy ambience and the wonderful, thoughtful service. The food was also very good and definitely enjoyed the complimentary cheesy bread. The prices are very reasonable. I loved the chicken saltimbocca but the pesto was a bit watery. We’ll be back to try other dishes.

I ordered the Spicy Spaghetti Arabiatta. Insane good I tasted it while they packeted it up to go. Also it is just too nice inside and downright romantically cozy with a faux fireplace and one big screen tv. Georgeous.

Great mom and pop pizza place. Always drive by it and finally came in. Got a free cookie while I waited since they were slow. All for your name and treat you great. Exceptional service. Will come back. Got 2 slices of pizza. Very delicious and great size.

I’ve heard that the pizza is delicious and I’ve intended on ordering it several times but never have. Every time I look at the menu there is something new and delicious like the gnocchi or the lasagna and I order that instead. Maybe one day I’ll get a pizza there but I hope that day is a long way off because everything else on the menu is so tempting. The owner cares about her customers as well as the quality of her food. These days that is a rare quality and much appreciated. I WILL go back.

Cool owners!! The Meat Lover’s Pizza was the best I have EVER HAD!! My neighbor agreed, too! Glad Beach Blvd was fouled up so we turned on Edinger and there it was…we were starving and went for it.
