A gem in China Grove, I was very pleasantly surprised after all the other disappointments in the area.

What a country treat!! This reminded me of when my parents would take me out for a Friday dinner! Simple. Easy. Southern home cooking food. No fuss. No muss. House salads and french fries for everyone! Servers are local and super friendly. Food hits the spot. Atmosphere is getting the job done. Def come out for a Saturday night dinner and hang with the best if Landis!

A favorite for many years, making a come back from COVID years. Tonight food was just ok. Ordered chopped sirloin, came out very charcoal blackened and hard on outside, like it had ben in fire. Tasted ok, but hard to eat because of hard outside. Onion rings I would not recommend only got these because I was not in baked potato mood. Wife enjoyed her’s. Will go back, get something else or tell them not to over cook.

Ordered Ribs and onion rings and the ribs came out so TOUGH you could not even cut them with a knife. Waitress was great but ribs were terrible. Do not get ribs when you come here!!

A small place, warm and cozy. The place is usually packed, or completely empty. There’s no gray area. The restaurant has lots of options: seafood, burgers, steaks, salads, ribs and pastas that rival fast-italian joints such as Olive Garden. I started eating here about 3 years ago with my dad and his ex. The food is very well made but if it’s packed, the food takes a bit to arrive (as with any restaurant.) The picture of the food shown is the half-rack of ribs with grilled shrimp, onion rings and salad, (The salad came before the entree as sort of an appetizer, so no picture. They’re some of the best salads, ever.) Funny story, we had heard a meowing sound coming from under our hood, turns out it was a pretty black cat in our engine bay lol!

Great prices. Food was good. On level with China Grove family and Rockwell family on value to price to atmosphere. It just lacks the variety in menu options the other two has.
