I heard so much about this place I wanted to try it. My daughter and I were excited to try something new but we didn’t like anything. The food was not good and they use cheese in everything even the egg rolls to much Velveeta. I didn’t mind the price but it wasn’t worth it. My lamb chops were horrible. The salmon was salty and dry. I won’t be going there anymore.

I just tried the bayou affect for the first time. The food was SO GOOD!! I ordered blackened salmon (they were out of the pasta), asparagus and loaded potatoes. The salmon was cooked to order and it was seasoned really well. Ty took my order….she was a sweetie and she had a great attitude! I’ll def be back!

I have been traveling from North Carolina to Texas and was looking for somewhere to get some Louisiana seafood. I wish I could have done 3.5 stars because it was so close to being perfect. I was a little bummed it wasn’t a dine in place but that’s fine, I’m just eating it in my car. Maybe one day they can expand. The cashier was very nice but maybe a little unsure of the menu. Since the displayed menu didn’t offer any descriptions I had to ask questions and she couldn’t answer all of them, which is fine. It also took about 15 minutes longer than I was quoted. She helped me choose the seafood potatoes special which also came with 2 pieces of fish and I added a strawberry lemonade and a side of fries. This was hands down the best food I’ve had in a very long time. The seasonings were spot on and it was all cooked perfectly. I thought it was strange there wasn’t ice for the drink but the lemonade was good. I wish I was planning on coming back this way because I think I will be dreaming of this food for a while. Definitely try it and give them a chance. I can’t compare it to any other local food, but it is wonderful in my books.

This place has two locations, there is one on O’Neal lane and the other is near LSU. If your in a rush or just want your food to-go I would suggest the O’Neal location, and the LSU location is more of a sit down restaurant. I went to the O’Neal location out of convenience and i was not disappointed. The server was very kind and attentive. The food was very good and filling. Their menu mostly consist of seafood infused dishes. They give your money’s worth with the portions and caliber of food offered. This place is definitely worth trying and I will be going back.

Every single damn time I have ordered food from this place 95% of the time my food is always burnt and I mean almost every item on the plate !!!! How do you burn broccoli ? I ask for a steak medium well or medium rare BURnT!!! Asparagus BURNt ! The food is great when done properly but please stop rushing peoples food I already wait a long time and for it to burnt pisses me off ! Waste of money !

When I say the food was amazing!! I ordered the 1/2 rack of lamb chops + 2 sides. I got mac and cheese and yams. Delicious!! The cashier Ty was so nice and very helpful with my order. She gave me recommendations and her customer service was amazing 10/10!! Food came fast. I will definitely be a returning customer!!

The wings tasted grilled and had amazing flavor. Best garlic parmesan wings I’ve ever had. The Mac and cheese were the creamiest ever as well. I can’t say enough good things about the loaded mashed potatoes and of course the fried fish was on point. The shrimp also tasted grilled and were truly plump and delicious. The only thing lacking was not having a dessert menu. Amazing place surprised this is the first I have heard of it considering it is almost a year old.

Everything here is so good!!!!!!!! They never miss. You can’t go wrong with the pasta, lamb chops, egg rolls, seafood potatoes, fish, wings, or salmon….. literally I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t love. The staff is so friendly and professional. Plus, they have daily specials that you just can’t beat. I can’t wait to return and try something else.
