BEST tacos I’ve had in Columbus! The handmade tortillas and fresh salsa made all the difference. Quick service and plenty of seating and parking. They had a soft opening menu today and I can’t wait to come back once they add more!

Would really like to see the East Market succeed and I hope this stall is one of the missing puzzle pieces. Some of the best tacos I’ve had since I lived in Pilsen, Chicago. I appreciate the full commitment to corn tortillas and I was so impressed that they were made to order. The tortillas really are perfect – you owe it to yourself to try them, especially if you don’t like the store-bought corn variety. The owner Iván was charming and charismatic, he hooked it up with all the salsas and gave my daughter a free side of rice – which was perfectly seasoned. The salsas are more subtle than I was expecting, definitely more attention paid to the sweetness of the peppers rather than the heat. The Chingon sauce just looks wonderful, it’s fragrant and doesn’t suffocate the rest of the dish. Really excited to come back for the Birria.

We saw their instagram and was very excited to try it. They were nice, but the food was not good. We ordered three burritos that were filled with rice. There was no cheese in them, but the description states there is. The steak burrito that was an upcharge, had barely any steak. The pieces were small like ground beef. The barria tortillas were so small. I will add pictures. It is definitely not worth the price. The quesadillas were not closed. The sour cream was left open in the bag which caused it to spill everywhere. It was. Avery watered down as if it’s being stretched. There was no flavor to anything and I am so disappointed. I called multiple times when we made it home and opened everything. However, there was no answer. Do not waste your time or money!! I zoomed in so that you’re able to see the details up close.

Love this vendor. The food is fresh and delicious and the owner is super friendly and helpful. Top notch service every time we’ve visited. The chicken fajita tacos (made with FRESH corn tortillas) might be my favorite. They also had a soup special this last visit that was amazing – hopefully they make it a more permanent staple! Their salsas are great too – I recommend trying them all! It’s become my favorite Mexican spot in Columbus.

Heard about this place and it’s worth the hype. We got a couple of salads and a burrito (sorry forgot to to get the pic) which is waaaaay bigger than chipotle or anywhere else. Customer service was top notch and quality of food was outstanding – so many flavors. You can definitely tell that this place cares about the customer and takes pride in their food. Price is right as well. I will definitely be back.

I’ve had it multiple times and it’s very good. I get steak or chicken tacos, the quesadillas are also good, & they gave very good guac. I love the homemade tortillas

We’ve eaten at Masa almost every week since they opened, and we’ve never been disappointed. The tortillas are soft and moist, the quesadillas are full of flavor, and the owners seem to be continually trying to new flavors/ideas. Would definitely recommend!

There’s literally something for everyone on the menu: for carnivores, vegans, spice-lovers, and anyone who loves home-cooked Mexican food with a twist – everyone will fall in love with MASA. Talk about a BLAST of flavor. MASA’s specialty is definitely their handmade corn tortillas, but HAVE YOU TRIED THEIR SALSAS?!?!?! They have two uber-unique salsas that will blow your taste buds. Their standard green and red salsas are super tasty (and significantly better than other places around town) but WOW… “Salsa Ilegal” and “Salsa Mas Chingon”… I would literally drink these salsas if I could. (Rumor has it that they will be selling their salsas in large-format bottles soon). I love the fact that it’s a family run place, and that Chef Ivan has been working so hard to finally open his OWN brick-and-morter location after decades of managing other people’s restaurants. His story is great, the food is awesome, and the whole MASA family is a pleasure to watch and engage with as they make your food (literally HANDMADE tortillas right in front of your eyes!) I can’t wait to go back again for their QUESABIRRIA!!!!!

Can’t say enough good things about Masa! My daughters got the vegan black bean and corn tacos and they were amazing, my barbacoa and carnitas tacos were the best I’ve ever had, and my husband loved his burrito. They make the tortillas to order but their service is still fast and friendly. We will most likely become regulars.

I live in the neighborhood and was excited to try this new East Market taco spot! I tried the veggie quesadillas and they were very tasty. The super fresh, handmade tortillas make all the difference and reminded me of all the tacos I had in Mexico City. They let me try all the different salsas; green was probably my favorite. Only comment I have is that there was no price difference for vegetarian meals versus chicken and steak. Seems like the black bean & corn option should be a little cheaper. Otherwise, great new addition to the Trolley District and I will definitely be back! Friendly service too.
