My husband and I stopped here because of the great reviews, and they didn’t disappoint. We both ordered bacon cheeseburgers and shared an order of fries and an order of onion rings. Everything was delicious!! We will definitely stop again when we drive through Childress.

My favorite kind of place! A true hole in the wall hamburger joint. They do have an extensive menu of other foods, but you know me. Got to try that burger! They did not let me down…. Starting with toasted buns and a 1/3 lbs. pattie, then complimented with good mustard and all the veggie fixings, they have as good a burger as anybody. Not crazy about the seasoned fries, but that was offset by the wonderful cup of pinto beans that a patron recommended. I believe I will stop back on the way home from Amarillo and try the good- looking basket of brisket fries.

J.T.’s is one of our family’s favorite stops when driving through Childress,Texas. We have gone out of our way on trips just so we could stop in at J.T.s. the place is an old school, roadside burger joint.

so I gave this a four because I really like the food. atmosphere is just weird and it’s small back kind of hole in the wall. kind of place I saw. I mean it’s not dirty. it’s just small. Services all right. nothing spectacular. nothing horrible. they’re friendly. for small town, little diner food’s pretty good barbecue is good. really like the onion rings.

Fish and shrimp were good! If you’re looking for baked beans, theirs are not. They serve BBQ sandwiches with pinto beans. Didn’t try their burger, but it’s been rated #1 in the city 2yrs straight!

The way burgers should taste. Well seasoned with fresh ingredients. Friendly service and a clean bathroom. A great little stop for lunch driving through town to get home.

Nothing was wrong with the food. Service was ok, fast food joint basically so didn’t need much service, ran by some young guy and a kid. We dined in, there was trash and food all over floor. To their credit, it was very busy and they didn’t have time to clean off table when we arrived, right as last customer was leaving. I would eat here again but would do takeout if I could.
