Iron Skillet is conveniently located off the thruway inside of Petro. The restaurant is clean and very large, with a counter in the front to sit at along with many tables inside the main hall and a more secluded dining room as well. The food was really good and if you’re a truck driver it’s a great place to eat on the move or just to settle down and relax while you wait for other trucking related services. The waitresses were friendly and professional and the menu was pretty extensive with lots of options to choose from and a kids menu as well. I recommend the smash burgers. They are delicious and pretty big for a burger. Whether you’re just passing through or here on business, you should definitely check out Iron Skillet. I can almost guarantee that you’ll be glad you did!

Stick to the regular bar food. I’d give those foods a 5/10. Do not get anything that is ethnic or complex. Burger and fries are fine. Pad Thai, pasta, shrimps etc are terrible. Pretty much inedible. I haven’t heard this many toilets flush since Korea.

Chicken quesadilla was loaded and delicious. I had chicken fried steak and Mac n cheese. Girlfriend had salmon. We finished with a desert of apple pie rolls and ice cream. It was all great. Better than expected. Quiet family atmosphere and would come back. Great service also.

Highly recommend. The loves travel plaza across the street was really busy so we took a chance on the iron skillet and getting gas at there gas station the restaurant is attached to. Server was really nice and food was good. I had chicken tenders and my husband had fish.

This place is glad I’m even giving them one star. I had the absolute most disgusting experience I’ve ever had. My chicken was served to me raw so they took the liberty to slap it on another plate and throw it in the microwave like a 5 star restaurant would. At this point the raw chicken juices were all over my green beans and I didn’t even touch my plate. This place should be shut down.
