Arrived on a busy Saturday night and scored the last table for 6. The inside is very spacious and we did not feel crammed at all. It’s open and airy with a modern feel (not many places around the Wilkes barre area could compare). Food was as expected with nice sized portions. If you are looking for a nice atmosphere with an upbeat feel this is your place.

This is a fairly new spot. It’s quite large, and has several big long tables so would be good for large parties of people. They have a pretty nice covered patio area outside as well with a fountain running along side. Overall a pleasing aesthetic and atmospheric vibe. The service was perfect adequate. The door was of quality ingredients and well proportioned. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms. There is a large bar area which seems beer-forward with many beer options and several signature cocktails to choose from. This is probably the nicest place to dine on the square in Wilks-Barre. Off street parking only, though.

The food was mediocre and the service was less than. We waited a long time for our food. Like way too long. The place was dead, so it’s not like they were backed up at all. The service staff made me feel as if asking when our food would come out was a nuisance to them. We had a wedding to get to. Just lackluster all around. Whoever is running the kitchen needs Gordon Ramsay’s help.

Rodano’s was such a delightful dining experience. We arrived at 7 p.m. on a Friday night, and there was plenty of seating available. Our server told us that the light crowd was unusual, and was the result of two nearby events being cancelled.

The service was slow due to a fundraiser that was being held and shortage of staff. The waitress was excellent.

Portion size has gotten smaller. My wife ordered the Buffalo chicken salad, there were like 5 small pieces of chicken and some lettuce. This used to be like 12 pieces of chicken. My stromboli was expensive for the size. Nice atmosphere and good service, but not a good value. We’ll try somewhere else next time.

Great staff, service and food. We had 14 people for a graduation party on a Sunday afternoon. They were very accommodating and all of my guests loved the atmosphere and had a great time. Thank you Rodanos for making our celebration even better!

Terrific place. Attentive and friendly wait staff. Very large but fills up when the Kirby theater empties out… or perhaps before a show. Timing could be important.

Very spacious with nice view of Public Square, especially from the patio. We sat at the bar and just ordered appetizers, but they were good, and so was the service. My only regret is not asking the cocktail prices before ordering, as they are not included on the drink menu. It seemed like a red flag at the moment but I admit it played me and I later felt like we wasted money, particularly ordering a second round–$45 for 4 drinks that were mostly ice. You live and you learn.
