Man, this was a pretty fun place. You can see the pizzas out which will of course make you want a slice and you can just go talk to him and get your pizza. They say it’s New York style and I think it’s only because his sliced large. It’s really not New York tasting pizza. It’s more of a New York slice of pizza

I’ve been a loyal customer at Sarefino’s for a few years now. As an East-Coaster I can confidently say their pizza is the best New York slice in Columbus and the stromboli is sooo delicious! Worst pizza my family has ever had … Sunday labor weekend ordered a whole cheese pizza 40 minutes before market closed … got it with extra cheese but didn’t appear to have extra cheese … crust was burnt …. Cheese was burnt … had over abundance of whatever they sprinkle on it … sauce was sparse without much taste … worst pizza we’ve ever had … my family and I, when we travel always try to seek out pizza shops to try. Over the years we have never had a pizza that we just threw in the trash because it was so bad. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

Best NYC Pizza in Columbus hands down. Although my son and I always get a slice whenever at the North Market, my wife always gets fresh pasta and a few sauces as well to go, makes week night meals so easy with the kids. Just always a great experience owned by people who care. Thanks you for your years of great service!!

The pizzas sit in a rack on the front counter & have a lot of eye appeal. I ordered 2 slices from the fresh looking pizzas on top. Apparently that was intolerable to Sarafino’s employees, who denied me ordering selected slices and stated it was a health code violation to serve that way! They wanted to serve me the remaining slices from earlier in the day, which may have been ok but I preferred the newer. They made a big stink about it & resentfully & rudely ended up complying with my request. I asked for a simple refund of my purchase, which had not been served yet, but they ignored my requests. Employees kept walking over & asked what’s going on & then insisting it’s a health code violation to choose your slices! I never raised my voice or used foul language, but I was rudely tossed my order. As I was walking away, yet another employee accosted me for daring to select my slices & told me not to come back!! I said “Are you drunk?” I heard her & the employees forcing a laugh at my expense as I walked away, trying to add insult to injury. The pizza itself is always plain but I buy a slice now & then anyway. But with rude service like this I might as well find another pizzaria.

You will not find anything closer to New York pizza than Sarefino’s!! I’ve never had an issue with customer service or the food. It is literally the best pizza I’ve ever had outside of Manhattan. I wish there was one closer to Dublin, but the drive downtown is more than worth it!!

Excellent NY style pizza inside North Market in downtown Columbus. Bit of a pain to get to, but absolutely worth it. They also offer other Italian fare – haven’t had a chance to try it.
