Pretty good. First time. Could never afford the top end steak. Nice to dream though. Spaghetti and meatballs was very nice. A large portion. Cobb salad was excellent. Coffee was super. Blueberry pie ala mode was very tasty.

The food I ordered (shrimp tacos) was good but unfortunately the 3 other people in my party did not receive the greatest of food. Cold perch, burnt baked potato and the taste of weird sausage in the tortellini. Even the kids cheese pizza was burnt.

We chose this place for our anniversary meal and it did not disappoint. Located in Harbor Springs, this restaurant is divided into a wine cellar side and sports bar. We sat in the wine cellar. I had the Vernales Black Bean Burger with Truffle Fries, and my husband had the Tortellini Ala Vodka. They also brought us fresh rolls and pesto – so good.

This was a lovely little restaurant, elegant but with simplicity. Waitstaff gave excellent service. The food was best quality, reflecting specialties of the region. And best of all, the portions were perfect! Just enough to leave us perfectly satisfied with perfectly healthy choices! This is a must-visit on your next trip here.

For the price, this was not the place. I’m sure we went in with high expectations. The place looks nice and fancy on the outside, but…. When we got seated, no worries, it was pretty busy. So we sat outside on the patio area. We got seat pretty quickly that way and got out drink orders ok. Then not too long after that the waiter came out for our food order. It wasn’t long after we got our salad and appetizers but didn’t get any silverware. Then we ate the salad and appetizers and waited and waited, it took a long time to get any drink’s refilled or see or entree’. Then when our food came my fish and rice was cold (I had the Perch) and my potato was burnt. My grandsons pizza was burnt. My daughters meal was cold and didn’t taste good. The only one that was pleased with there meal was my wife. She ordered the shrimp tacos. 1 out of 4, not so good! Probably not going back!!!

An old style steakhouse with amazing steaks and excellent service. I highly recommend the bone in aged ribeye. Everytime we visit Harbor Springs we take our travelling companions, it is now tradition.
