My wife and I had tried Kamrai as take out a couple of years ago. We were not initially impressed. We decided to give it another chance, and our second experience was much better, especially because we decided to dine-in. The atmosphere is quaint and unique. The staff was very helpful even as the restaurant was very busy. The food was more delicious than what we had remembered though we did try different items from the menu this time. Though the food wasn’t an absolute to die for experience it definitely was among some of the better Thai food we have had around the area. I got a spicy tuna roll which tasted very fresh however I was not a huge fan of the Sweet chili sauce that it was dressed with. Overall we had a great experience and will go back when we have the chance to dine in.

This is an Asian fusion cuisine; Thai, Chinese, Japanese. I believe their fried rice has good consistency but needs more colors (veggies). I got the crab fried rice and it was good flavor but I needed to see my veggies on my plate. Their soups are good and their sushi is what I like the most from their restaurant.

Visited after a PSU tour. The two thai dishes that we ordered were extremely salty. There’s not much other flavor.

It took over 25 minutes to connect with them over the phone to place my order. They ran out of the type of noodle that typically comes with the dishes we ordered so it had to be subbed for a different noodle type. They also messed up the protein options for one of the dishes, and I ended up being charged more than what I should have. We got the Drunken noodle (pork), pad se ew (asked for chicken but got shrimp), and the bomb dumplings. I had the drunken noodle and it was very bland. The pad see ew was not very good. We were quite disappointed with the food for the amount of money we spent on our meal.

Overall a nice, cozy, and quiet restaurant. Our party all enjoyed our food, and the relaxed feeling of the restaurant, the only complaint was the staff missing one of our orders and a drink, but they quickly fixed it; the employees are all very courteous. Definitely worth a visit

After living in Thailand for a few years, I am always on the hunt for an authentic Thai restaurant and this establishment did not disappoint! Prices were a little high but the quality and taste were really superb, so for a special meal out the higher bill was ok. We will definitely be back!

It is inside of a nice old Victorian like house. It has a cozy atmosphere that you feel like you are being served at home. They have wide selection of food from Thai, Chineese and Japanese couisine. Dumplings and sushi we tried as appetizers were especially delicious.

If you’ve chosen to come here, you’ve chosen wisely. The only thing better than the sushi is the staff. Highly attentive and friendly is an understatement. The rolls are very well done and give you alot of bang for your buck.

I enjoyed this place much as well as its peaceful surrounding with many trees. Their foods were good and worth its price. I would recommend their roll food much than others. Other foods were as great though.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in state college. I would recommend either the stir fried food, or the chicken katsu. The service wasn’t that great, but everything else was awesome! Would recommend.
