This is a little hidden gem. The shrimp teriyaki bowl is on point. Perfect size bowl with great portions and a lovely sear on the shrimp. This is a family run business and they couldn’t be sweeter or more helpful. The music is soothing which helps digestion, very chill environment. We will definitely be back for more.

This is the best takeout we’ve had in a while. Of course we can’t order it all the time because it is a bit pricey, but worth every penny! The Shrimp Tempura being delivered is still hot and crunchy, The Cheese Wontons as well! We also had the Chicken Teriyaki plate and the chicken is delicious. And I can only imagine having eaten it at the restaurant would only be 10 times better than having it delivered. So give it a try if you love Japanese cuisine!

(Update below!) Formosa is the BEST Asian food around! It seems like a small, family-owned business and it has its own little charm. I love their teriyaki bowl (I got mine without veggies), and everyone who works there is super nice. Their portions are also amazing, the picture below is a plate! 10/10!

My yakisoba was good, BUT I only found 4 shrimp on my plate. If I’m paying 12.99 and tipping for my yakisoba I hope to find more that 4 pieces of shrimp. Overall, the food was good. The Thai tea was too sweet for my preference and my sister said the same about her wintermelon tea. Their restroom door is wobbly and not secure when locking and closing. In the end, I personally would not be back because of how expensive the plates are and the small amount of food I received. For reference, I spent over $90 on 5 plates of food and drinks.

Overall the customer service was great but ………. As much as I wanted to like this place I just couldn’t, the food was $60 for 2 teriyaki bowls, fried rice mix & a ramen with chicken, the food came out oddly fast and the meat and chicken was so extremely dry, we paid about $60 and everything was disappointing. Personally I think for a place that specializes in teriyaki bowls the meat should be made with a little love at least .. I’d rather go to waba and flame broiler and deal with mediocre customer service.
