Stopped here on our way out of town and did not disappoint. I got Katy’s breakfast sandwich on a croissant and an iced latte and both were delicious. Our server was super nice, service was quick and we enjoyed the nice weather on the patio.

Me and my husband came here for lunch and it was a relatively mediocre experience. After sitting, our drink order was taken and before even getting a menu we were asked what we wanted to eat. We have never been here before so of course we asked for a minute. Almost 30 minutes later our waitress finally made her way back to us. If they were busy, it would have been justified but they were not busy. Our waitress and 3 other staff were too busy standing behind the counter gossiping and texting. Once we placed our order, the food came out relatively quick and the food was great. That was probably the only enjoyable part of coming here. I got the sunrise panini, highly recommend and my husband got the ham and bacon and he loved it. Pricing was also decent. We paid $30 for everything. Not sure that I would come back here again based on the service, but would definitely order food to go.

Server forgot about us and never acknowledged us for about 40 minutes! Tables around us with a different server recurved water and we’re served food in a timely manor and left. That would have been nice. At the like I said 40 minute mark I had to leave. I left my wife and 2 kids with empty chocolate milk glasses and just getting their food. Maybe it was an off day but just say oops we forgot to put your food in and ask if you wanted anything to drink.

It took 50 minutes for our food to come out, waitress didn’t check on us once in the whole 50 minutes when we wanted to add drinks other than water to our bill. When the food came out it was very cold but still tasty. disappointing.

Cool little coffee/food shop. Food was good, atmosphere quaint, restaurant clean. We were asked to sit anywhere if eating lunch. Wasn’t sure how the operation worked as it’s our first visit to Ellicottville and this particular restaurant. I walked up to retrieve our own menu to place an order after waiting at the table for several minutes with no interaction. I was (in my opinion) reprimanded and told to be patient, that she was the only server. When I apologized and told her I didn’t know, I was then reminded again in front of my family to be patient. There were 5 occupied tables and no one in line. I wouldn’t consider that a reason to pull the “be patient in the only server card”. I was close to taking my business elsewhere but understand I shouldn’t judge a restaurant on 1 experience and 1 employee so I stayed. I’m happy we did because the food was excellent and her interaction with my children good. I did watch as two older ladies who entered were frustrated as well that they were not provided a menu and watched this same server roll her eyes at them. Saw them sitting in a cool little restaurant up the street after they left. Now that I know how it works, I’d likely return but fairly certain many first timers visiting this seasonal town for the first time wouldn’t.
