Decided to try KFC for the first time in several months. Regrettable. Chicken tenders were thin and cooked to a crisp. The restaurant was out of iced tea, and the root beer I got instead had NO ice. I won’t be back again for several months – if ever.

KK was very nice and greeted us when we walked. The chicken was hot and fresh, the hot sides were hot and the Cole slaw was cold and creamy. Our family meal was ready promptly and delivered to our table with a smile. We hesitated stopping hear because of past reviews but learned it is under new management and everything has improved since some of the bad reviews at this location. Thank you KK for the friendly service and excellent meal.

My husband and I tried the mini chocolate chip cake and mini lemon cake. He tried the mini lemon cake, and he absolutely loved it. I tried the mini chocolate chip cake, and it was alright… not as chocolately as I would have liked. I will try the mini lemon cake next time.

the place has gone to the dumps with service and food every time I try to go there and order its either,” we don’t have enough chicken, or it’s going to be a 30 minute wait, or a fryer is done .” it’s always somethingwith the norside kfc so I’m always going across town to get chicken

We went through the drive thru last night and upon arriving home, we discovered that we didn’t get our chicken or biscuits that we’d ordered, only our 4 large sides. (We are at fault too, though, because we should have checked to make sure we had all of our order.) We live about an hour north of Topeka, and it was late in the evening, so there was no going back to get it last night. My husband did call the restaurant to let them know, and the person apologized, took my husband’s name and said whenever we were back in Topeka to come in and they’d make it right with us. We went back today to get it, and the manager, ( I think his name is Ricky), was very kind, apologetic, and he proceeded to give us our entire order, plus a free chocolate cake. While we were waiting in the lobby, my husband and I both admired how nice and clean the lobby looked. We were very impressed, thankful and appreciative of their quality service and friendly faces, and our meal was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the manager and staff working at the north Topeka, KS, KFC on Friday, October 14th, around 12:30 pm. We appreciate you, your wonderful customer service, the delicious food, and for doing everything you did to make our experience a great one. Thank you. We will definitely be back.
