The best breakfast EVER! Eggs to perfection, crispy bacon and English Muffins toasted twice, just as requested! Service was quick and excellent. Every corner (including the bathroom). Spotless. Our waitress was sweet, kind and attentive and timely. Sadly, I forgot to get her name. Whoever you were, kudos to you!

Country Kitchen is a clean and neat restaurant. The food came in very big portions.. you can make 2 meals out of one.. the soup had a wonderful tasted, a litter to thick. Very polite waitress, I would stop again..

Service was terrible. We were seated by a young man who didn’t say anything to us. We sat for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. Servers kept walking by, but no one stopped at our table. We finally stopped someone who just said she was not our server and walked away. Someone finally came to wait on us and said she had no idea we were there (she had walked past us at least 5 times waiting on tables around us). Food was mediocre.

Had to wait 45 mins. for my meal while my partner went to the breakfast buffet 3 times! Then my meal was brought & was wrong! I’m not a difficult customer..I only ordered off the menu..how hard is that? Very disappointed. But the waitress was a sweetheart..it wasn’t her fault..I heard the cook yelling & it was a full house. Very unprofessional. I come from a restaurant family, that wouldn’t go in Silicon Valley! I won’t be back.

Went there tonight hoping to enjoy a nice birthday dinner. I couldn’t of been more wrong. My coffee was ice cold and when i got my meatloaf dinner it was also ice cold. Was not impressed. The waitress was excellent though and made sure my coffee and food came back hot the second time.

We’ve been frequenting this Country Kitchen about twice a month for the past 10 years and have always been happy with the food (broasted chicken dinner) and the service—–until now. On our July 10 visit, the chicken was obviously overdone-very dark, dry and leathery like jerky–should never have been served–should have been redone. It took about 40 minutes to receive our food. It was not particularly busy as it was early afternoon. When our waitress asked how our food was, I told her that it was overdone, to which she apologized and said that the cook was new and the manager just left (don’t use excuses for bad food –obviously the cook is not ready to “solo”), and asked if we wanted something else, to which we said “no”, as we already had been there for about an hour. She could at least have offered some compensation– a free dessert or $ off the bill, but that did not happen.

Servers definitely need training. Forgot part of our food. Didnt get it until almost done with meal. Brought out wrong food for the kids. Along with all of that waited quite a while to get food ordered and it was not very busy. After the supper rush. Workers didnt know if could use the coupons that you sign up for from Country Kitchen through email. Girl said will go ask manager and she proceeds to just go work at food counter not asking manager. Food was good tasting.

Bad service, bad food, had black flooties in my Mellow Yellow. Food was not worth the price. Service was slow. Salad was basically Burger King Foot lettuce. Scrambler had bad sausage gravy. The list goes on and on. I would not recommend this place to people who visit Antigo.

The staff was friendly, went in around 1ish so pretty empty. Everyone else enjoyed their meals but I ended up getting burnt pancakes and super greasy/oily hash browns. I couldn’t eat most of my food. Got sick later that night and I am pretty sure it was from what I ate.

They’re always a solid place to get a meal at in Antigo! Great portions for the price, great service, didn’t have to wait long for food, I definitely recommend. My only complaint is the food was surprisingly greasy, but I’m not sure if that had to do with what I ordered. Other than that, no complaints!
