Food isn’t all that good. The subs had barely any filling in them and are mostly bread. Subs don’t have the best flavor and aren’t filling enough. Service wasn’t too good as they had someone up front that didn’t know what they were doing at all, and the woman in the back was talking them through it instead of coming up and helping. I also found a hair in my wife’s sub, so that’s just great. The loaded fries also had a copper taste to them, like pennies. This was my first impression, and it was not a good one.

Wowww!! HUGE steak subs!! We did the build your own and got double meat but really it was not necessary, the regular meat was plenty. The regular size is 6” and the large is 12”. Delish!! Could be a better option for sides – we got fries but would have preferred coleslaw or pasta salad or more than fries / chips. Will definitely be returning.

Today at 3:45 pm on Sunday 9/3. I went in for a meatball sandwich, and I observed a employee practicing unsanitary behavior. The employee has red hair, and she was at the cash register and handling money, touching her visor hat, and pulling her pants up while handling food. Another customer observed the same and she hoped that she was not going to prepare her food. I said something to the other employee that came back to the register and the red head caught a attitude. I told the young lady that took my order no cheese. When I received my sandwich I had cheese because I am allergic to cheese. I brought the sandwich back and the young gentleman apologized. I told him no problem. The problem I have is the attitude of the red head and she yelled at me “we are busy”. I yelled back at her and said ” I am not the one to get a attitude with because I will check you”! I only go to three restaurants in Culpeper because of unsanitary food practices and the way they handle food. This was one of the three, and now it’s two. I can walk to the place from my house because I live in the development behind the restaurant. You guys started out great and you have become like all the other establishments in Culpeper. My $15 will not make a difference in your profit margin, but you have lost a enthusiastic loyal patron of your business.

This place was good starting out, bought a large sub because I like the concept of them separating it into 2 so I can take 1 part to work. Well just had them yesterday and they not only got rid of that, they downsized it to 1 long sub and kept the same price. Doing a comparison with 2 standard subs next to it, it’s significantly smaller. That’s all well and good, but the price was the same. That large sub set the difference between going here or jersey Mike’s, well I don’t mind going back to jersey Mike’s, because as of now it’s cheaper.

I went for my first time 3 months ago, I ordered the steak and cheese and fries. The fries here are AMAZING! They are the so good and the star of the show to me. The steak and cheese was ok, it definitely needed more steak. I felt like I was just eating bread and sides. Fast forward to today, I ate the rueben and it was DELICIOUS, it was filled well and very filling. I strongly recommend the rueben.

The service was good and the atmosphere is great. The steak n cheese subs taste like Subway. It doesn’t hold up to the independent Italian steak n cheese restaurants in Culpeper. Nothing great and nothing bad; you get what you get for the price you pay.

This was my first visit and I will definitely be coming back! Subs were absolutely delicious! Glad I got the Ghost Pepper Jack Cheese with my Steak & Cheese – it made it that much better! Had a nice little kick to it, and not overpowering. The bread was super yummy – still nice and soft, even after toasting (perfect toastyness lol).

Probably the best steak and cheese I’ve ever had (outside of homemade with filet). $17 for a 15” steak and cheese and well worth the price, it seemed to be really quality ingredients and generous amount of toppings/meat.
