This restaurant was a welcome addition to Crossroads shopping center in Riverbank, CA. Could not wait to try their Ramen! It comes in three different spice levels, mild, spicy, or very spicy and if you choose a spice level and you find its not quite enough they give you some spice at the table so you can punch it up. I have ordered multiple dishes from their menu, and they are all very tasty. My favorite is the eggs they put in the ramen, and I also really enjoy the lumping, and tempura shrimp. Prices are in line with portion sizes and quality. This is well worth your time. Looking forward to going back.

This place is incredible! We ordered the Tonkotsu and Black Garlic Ramen with extra eggs, both spicy! I’m so happy there’s finally a great ramen spot in town! This place is the real deal, the broth and toppings taste fresh. I was surprisingly impressed with the pork which was perfectly cooked. The restaurant is small and cozy, they played K pop music videos in the background which was nice. The service was fast and the workers were friendly. The prices are reasonable! I’ve tried many ramen places and this place is in my top 3! I felt spicy was the perfect level for me, it was not burning my mouth and was enjoyable to eat while being super flavorful. I’ll be back again here!

Good ramen. I always ask for extra pork since the usual amount doesn’t fill me up.

Ramen 101 is located in the Super WalMart parking lot. A small spot with about 8 tables for dine in. I decided to try the Shoyu Ramen medium spice and my daughter had the Miso Ramen mild spice. My first time trying the Shoyu which is soy sauce based broth, and was surprised to find it was on the bland side. My daughter’s Miso was much more flavorful. Nice thick pieces of pork belly in the Ramen and very good portions served in large bowls. We also ordered Gyoza and Crab Rangoon which were both hot, crispy, and delicious with additional sauce packets for each item. Prices are good for Ramen and they have many other menu items including Hawaiian BBQ, teriyaki chicken, and lumpia! So even if you aren’t feeling Ramen there will be something you can enjoy! I will definitely be back to try the Tonkotsu Ramen and some of the other menu items!

Family review on the Ramen soup. A small non dining atmosphere. Let’s get to it. Better than expected, but lacking flavor possibly from ordering with no spice or should they say hotness would be a more accurate description. I had the combo, and chicken was moist and tasty. The fried lumpia was okay, but pricey. Qty 6 for 5$. Mind you these were the little ones. See pics . Will try again with something new. As always post good or bad wherever your palette takes you.

Tried their ‘Chicken Ramen’ and ‘Hawaiian BBQ chicken’. I liked the ramen. They ask you for the spicy level and I liked the mild spicy. The BBQ chicken needed some salt and pepper to add flavor to it. I could recommend the Ramen more. If you want to enjoy their menu, it’s best to expect them to be less flavorful than the other restaurants considering the few condiments they use. However, I didn’t find it a deal-breaker as I can always add some salt and pepper to my taste. The food portion size was huge and with the soy sauce packets they provide, the Ramen tasted good. All in all I like their food and would definitely be coming back to this place.
