My son and I went here for dinner recently. I love trying new restaurants and this one was on my list. Food was great, atmosphere was very colorful and bright..loved the decor. Our server was super nice! We will definitely go back for more as their menu had a lot to choose from. My only complaint was my son was stuck in the bathroom. He texted me to help him as he was not able to open the door with the help of some staff and a butter knife he was released. It was an interesting visit.

We’ve visited Plaza Mexico a handful of times before I wrote a review to give it a fair rating. The menu is diverse and had a lot of traditional Mexican dishes along with a menu section that showcases some of their own house dishes. The wait staff is fantastic even when spread thin. The restaurant itself is a decent size and in a convenient location in Palm Harbor.

I had a taste for a really good margarita and it did not disappoint. Very tasty and decently strong. The salsa was delicious! The only disappointing thing was that they didn’t have homemade table side guacamole available…but their alternative wasn’t too bad. The main course dishes were amazing! Big portions and tasted authentic. Staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and spacious.

Visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted on arrival. My first impression was the restaurant looked very clean and had a great atmosphere. The menu is extensive. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in the menu, simply ask the server as they will be happy to help. I ordered the steak fajitas and loved them. My only complaint is, there are no red peppers only green peppers. It was nice that the onions were actually caramelized. However, I did not taste any of that flavor on the steak. Perhaps it’s cooked separately. They were still very good and I would order them again. Oh and the complimentary chips and salsa were fabulous.

The food was so good. Started with queso fundito and a frozen mango drink with two mini Don Julio’s so cute and for the price so worth it !!! The drink was strong and huge. My friend ordered the chimichanga and she loved it. It comes with two mini chimichangas not featured. I ordered the combo grande and I chose the cheese quesadilla chicken enchilada, ground beef burrito. Came with a side of rice and beans. Literally can’t say a bad thing about our meal. The service was awesome. Our server was fast and attentive her name was Zayra. The food really just came out so quick it was crazy! A nice atmosphere and vibe in there, great decor, and a cool mural on the back wall. First time here, and definitely would come back!!

Plaza Mexico was a hit last night for my coworkers birthday dinner. They usually don’t take reservations but was nice enough to accommodate the party of 12 guests. The drinks and food were awesome and the service was great, our server Aven was great and attentive to our needs. This was our first time going here, we will definitely be back! Thank you again to the staff for helping us make this happen for my work colleagues.

Seen this place for a few years but never tried it. Was looking for some good Mexican food last night and a friend recommended. We were floored at how awesome the food and service was. We ordered the Queso Fundido; it was excellent. My friend ordered a steak burrito and it was stuffed full with steak. The taste was excellent. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and was not disappointed. Looking forward to the next visit to try the pineapple fajitas. 🙂

Nice Mexican restaurant with good food. We came on Saturday around 12:30pm for lunch. Very surprised they don’t serve lunch on the weekends you have to order from the dinner menu. Way too much food for an early lunch, we could have easily shared an entree as the portions are mucho grande! Salsa was tasty

Good Mexican food that wasn’t too spicy and still has flavor. Service was friendly and good. Will have to try more items next time. The decor was nicely done. The food is actually served hot which seems to be uncommon these days.
