Jambo Bobcat Bite, American food with an African and Caribbean twist. The latest endeavor by beloved Santa Fe Chef, Ahmed Obo. In collaboration with Delmy Oliva this IS the place for breakfast and lunch. Get on over here and try our house-made banana bread French toast, blue corn pinion pancakes, steak and eggs, crab eggs benedict, green chile cheeseburger, fish and chips, curried falafel burger, and tres leches cake. We’re excited to keep the Bobcat Bite tradition of great food and atmosphere with attention to quality and service. We’ll see you soon!

Okay…..how do I find the words for this? This food is so good! It’s obvious so much love and creativity has been poured into it. We ordered a few dishes to try and the jerk chicken was honestly *the best* chicken I have ever had. The servers were friendly, place was clean (and had a fun atmosphere). There was a little bit of a wait for the food, but it was very busy and definitely worth the wait. If you don’t try it, you’re missing out!

The owner of Jambo Cafe took over this business, remodeled the place and just recently opened. Great atmosphere and service. For now it is open only for breakfast and lunch, he is expecting to include dinner by the middle of this year (2023). It is supposed to be more like a burger place, as you can see from the menu. My crab burger was ok, but it lacked more taste, more flavor. As the owner of Jambo cafe, I am quite sure that he is going to be improving the recipes as time goes on. Food is great, but comparing with Jambo Cafe, I think it still needs a little more tuning.

I have gone to the original bobcat bite some 10 years ago and it was as dump but food was tasty. The new bobcat bite is very pleasant dinning experience but the food was a little disappointing as the fries were I believe frozen and cooked . Had 2 lamb burgers one was ordered medium rare and medium . We got dead meat which way over well done.

Delicious food. My mom had the Crab Benedict and I had jerk steak and eggs with curry potatoes. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend both dishes. The restaurant is beautiful and it was nice and cool despite the heat outside. The server didn’t check on us after we received our food, but the service was friendly and quick when we sat down, and the little girl helper was as cute as can be, my mom got a kick out of her. We will be back.
