This place is truly a hidden gem of youbare in Las Vegas. The food is fresh and made to order. The pricing is reasonable, and the portions are good. You can have your food grilled or fried, and both ways are delicious! I don’t do catfish, so they let me substitute cod for my fish. I’m going back when I go to Vegas in August!

If you like Cajon/ Creole food, this place did not disappoint!!! The food was absolutely incredible and authentic. There was nothing that we didn’t like, maybe the fries and not a great selection of desserts, but this place is a must try! Even the music was impeccable, Motown baby!!!!

Wow!! The food was GREAT! And I am a Louisiana girl, born and bred. Everything was on point! I got the blackened grilled salmon plate with grilled zucchini and red beans & rice. So GOOD! My husband got the fried catfish and shrimp plate with French fries. Just like home! We finished with the bread pudding. All I can say is- there are restaurants in New Orleans that don’t make bread pudding like that! It was amazing. If you are in Las Vegas and want some good down home Cajun cooking, you have to stop by Fish King Grill. You won’t be disappointed!

Ordered the shrimp and chicken. Asked for a extra piece of chicken and they said 5.99, I said never mind and Im glad I did because Shrimp was good, French fries were not seasoned, hush puppies soggy inside, fried chicken is a frozen tender, nothing worth talking about. I don’t eat cat fish so I didn’t like that there was no cod or other fish to choose from. If a box of fries is what you want for dinner this is your place. $13.39 for 2 shrimp and 1 small frozen chicken strip. Don’t know how they got all these good reviews. Must be there friends.

Flavors are on point and the portion sizes as well. The spicy has a Cajun blend to it that takes it to a whole different level. Prices are on the higher end but it makes up for the taste and portion size. Went twice in 2 days and ordered the Bayou basket and my wife got the Louisiana basket with soft shell blue crab. Will be back often. Update as of 10/01/22 the new photos are of the exact same dish just regular and not spicy. Same great service, same great taste with 2 kids hamburger meals.

Overall score 9.5. Safe location, plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean, the personnel is courteous, portions are good. Most dishes are OUTSTANDING, the fish, of the fish and chips, is the only one that was a little bland. We (4 people) have eaten here twice so far, ordered different items each time, most of them are absolutely delicious, exception as noted. This is my place to go to satisfy my Cajun needs.
