SUPERBURGER has more than 60 years of history serving made to order hamburgers from our original location on 4th street in Santa Rosa. A Superburger is a rustic grind of choice chuck steaks grilled to order. Our standard patty is 7 ounces and is cooked medium well to a warm rosy center unless you have a special request. Superburgers come with the fixings on the side: crispy iceberg lettuce, lively red onion, good ol’ tomato and fresh brined pickles. If you prefer grass fed beef just ask we have you covered. Named after the neighborhood street where the original Superburger has been located for decades, the St. Helena burger is also named for the local mountain that it resembles. Our chili recipe is a childhood memory of “Special Beans” dad used to make when mom wasn’t watching. I have been going to Superburger in Bennett Valley for years. I am giving them a one star because the hamburgers, fries and milk shakes have always been good but unfortunately the last two times I went in and ordered food to go, I signed the receipt and added a tip. I kept a copy of the receipt and wrote down the tip amount and total. When I received the email receipt the tip amount had been increased by $1.00. Now one dollar isn’t much and the first time I thought it might be a mistake but after the second time (and I wrote everything clearly and paid great attention to the numbers) I knew it was not a mistake. Now if you do that to every customer, $1.00 each can add up quickly.

My wife was looking for a place that sold turkey burgers. She tried out the Superburger on 4th street and really liked it. I joined her the next time she went. I also ordered a turkey burger along with some fries and a mango lemonade. Everything was great, along with fast friendly service. You can only eat outside at this location, but we enjoyed it, and will return.
