Order was incorrect – twice. Bottle of orange juice we ordered was past the expiration date. Hair found in barbacoa.

This my 2nd time at taco shack. My first time was about a year ago at the cedar park location. Very bland and underwhelming beef tacos. This time I went to the west campus location. The food here is down right dangerously bad. My friend has a whole egg shell in her taco. I had pieces of eggs shell in my bland eggs with bland potatoes. Additionally the refried beans were the consistency of soup and tasted like dirty dish water. Has potential given the bacon was good and salsa was as well. Would not recommend.

I didn’t ask for bacon and they gave me bacon, and I had to throw it out because I was too far.

wow. i just had the burnet burrito. a real piece of work – and my burrito standard of excellence is calibrated by the gourmet Mexican food sold by Mexican ladies in their front yards in the sketchier parts of Los Angeles, which is as good as it gets this side of the border. Best breakfast burrito in west campus for less than $6 – period.

West Campus Breakfast can’t go wrong with an Austin original as long as the owner is not there. She is not what makes this place favorable.

I was so disappointed. I was wanting a hearty breakfast burrito and the pictures looked like exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the eggs were plain (not a hint of salt or pepper anywhere), the potatoes were oily and not crisp at all (I peaked in the kitchen while waiting for the staff to fill my cup up with ice and saw the potatoes just simmering in oil on the stove), and while the bacon seemed to be of good quality it was soft. Also, the iced tea tasted like coffee, like the staff didn’t clean out the brew station between coffee and tea. $10 flushed down the toilet. If there had been some seasoning, texture to the potatoes, and crisper bacon I’d have gladly paid that amount for the hefty burrito I received, but after I got about a third of the way through I couldn’t handle how much oil was still clinging to the potatoes. It was just a soft, unseasoned, eggy mess.
