I decided to try this place out due to the many well written and positive reviews online. Unfortunately it was not as “delicious” as people say, I’ve had chipotle burritos that have more flavor. We had ordered two steak burritos to go, we got one filled with rice and lettuce with some chicken, and another with beans and rice with some steak. I’ve received larger portions of meat from an angry manager at subway.

A very simple menu, slightly pricey for what you get but does make your heart feel great. Visited with family and voila they had one vegetarian taco option. Unlucky not to taste their margaritas, their so called very hot salsa was actually a spicy one.

The food is average. Nice decor. We ordered burrito, tacos, elote, strawberry lemonade . Nothing stood out. Smaller portions. I ordered the burrito with all the meats. Small. The bill was over 50.00 $20 of that was a modelo and burrito. I’m in Chicago area , many exceptional Mexican food places. If your paying $14 for a burrito, it should be Mucho Grande. This is not one of them. The elote was alright.

Taco Nano’s tacos are excellent. They are definitely priced at a premium, but the variety, quality, and preparation of the ingredients is great – I believe there are at least eight, and what I have tried is delicious. Paired with with their salsas and guacamole, this makes for a fun and tasty lunch or dinner out.

I have loved Taco Nano and been a long time customer since they opened. The other day when I went the service was unexpected and the fish was not fully cooked. My husband waited for 15 minutes before someone asked if he was waiting for something. A young teenager gave the order without an apology for the wait or anything. So the tacos were cold by the time we ate. Fine, who hasn’t had a cold taco before? However, the fact that the fish was raw was the part that was unacceptable. I spit out part of it as I couldn’t figure out why it was so chewy… Not only has their portions gotten smaller over time, but it doesn’t even taste as good as it did before they made expansions and did all their renovations. The raw fish is the reason that I can’t do Taco Nano anymore.
