Upon entry and being seated took about 20 minutes for them to ask us what drinks we wanted. We got here at 1:30 and and we’re just leaving at 3:22 (waiting 20 minutes for the check). I am deeply dissatisfied with the service and overall food. The food doesn’t look like the pictures at all i put an example down below that’s supposed to be the Rancholada. The guacamole live was fresh but flavorless. The food did not meet expectations although it was not inedible it was bland. Even though the service was poor it was not the waitresses fault the restaurant seems to be understaffed. I still won’t be coming back here.

So I ordered delivery for lunch and got this spot for myself and some others. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. The food arrived on time and the delivery person was nice. When I dug in the fajitas were ok. It could of used some more seasoning in it and they were stingy with the tortillas. They could of given 3 instead of 2. The food was kind of filling though. All in all I had an ok experience.

The Chicken Bowl was a small serving but filling and delicious. The meal took a little long to come out but due to COVID I’m sure they’re making the best they can. I would come again if family suggests it. Otherwise, I’ll pass.

This was 1/3 of the 3-sauce fajita burrito I ordered yesterday. It was absolutely terrible. It was clearly frozen and just reheated in a microwave as evidenced by the plate being very hot while the burrito was lukewarm. I’m no chef but I can make better tasting Mexican food than this. Here’s some advice. Use fresh ingredients and make things ready to order. I will never come back to any on the border restaurant again.

We do not regularly come to ‘On The Border’, but they were having a BOHO special, of by one entree get one 1/2 off. The chips and salsa were good as normal. The service was okay. There were what seem to be two floor managers or charge people walking around making sure everything was okay. So why the one star? Because as our meal was ending we saw a roach in our booth. We called one of the charge people over to show her and she nonchalantly said “oh it’s a beetle, hand me a napkin and killed it and picked it up and walked away”. Beetle. Nah! I’ve seen beetles before and roaches and this definitely looked like a roach. Smdh. As we were leaving the restaurant I noticed the flooring had a lot of crumbs, so not surprised there were ROACHES and not beetles there. Pictures included. You decide.

We have gone to on the border for many many years. It was delicious as always! What was exceptional though was the customer service. With very few servers, they worked incredibly hard and diligently. It did take a little bit to go and be seated but we did not wait long at all to receive our delicious food.

Usually go about once or twice a month. The frozen margaritas are always awesome. The food is always fresh and delicious. Today we had a problem with our meals and the manager came to our table and corrected the problem immediately. She also gave us a free dessert. Was a very nice lady and treats customers how they should be treated. Place is always clean and the prices are great as well. Only negative I can say is sometimes a host is nowhere to be found to seat you sometimes. But it’s not that big of a deal to me. The waitresses have always been super friendly to us, especially Teria. She’s great.
